Lexus LX 470 1999 BLACK/ IVORY Original Owner! A/C, roof rack, tilt and slide moon roof, running boards, power seats, floor mats, first aid kit, tool kit, rear ac/heat controls, power windows, heated front seats, AM FM 6-CD changer, cruise control, full spare tire, fog lights, power/heated side mirrors. 3rd row seating (seats 8). Radar built-in front and back 200380 miles (at time of listing) 100% dealer maintained since day 1 Adult driven, Easy driving, 100% of the time Non-smoker, No pets , No accidents This is a 15 year old vehicle, but it’s in amazing shape. It obviously isn’t a new car, and it has some scuffs, dings, scratches and wear inside and out. But, it certainly doesn’t look or ride like a 15 year old, 200K mile vehicle. Rides smooth and straight. This is a 6000 lb vehicle. It’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owed. It has to go, as my new 2014 LX570 has arrived. That should tell you how much I LOVE the LX… I got a new one! I drove the new Mercedes GL550, Range Rover HSE and neither has the quality, solidness or comfort of the LX. The LX is the KING of the SUVs. I get about 16 MPG, premium gas. Oil changed every 3000 miles, religiously. ALWAYS maintained by Lexus Dealer. Everything works as it should, but here are a few things it needs: 1) 1) Power tilt steering wheel only goes in and out, not up and down. I got a quote for about $400 to fix by dealer, but I think you could do it for a lot less with your own mechanic. (Lexus dealers are expensive) 2) 2)The bulb that illuminates the driver’s side heated switch is out. The switch and heat works, it’s just the light bulb in the switch that’s burned out. There’s also a bulb that illuminates the “D” for the Drive position selector in the dashboard that is out. Neither of these bulbs is worth replacing, unless you feel compelled. 3) 3)There’s a slight ‘rattle’ from the heat shield/cat converter when the vehicle is cold. It goes away once it warms up a few minutes. I think you could have that fixed, inexpensively, but I haven’t checked. 4) 4)Tires. They are getting close, but still have a few thousand miles left on them. If you wanted to replace all 4, I just got a quote for $997 for the OEM Michelins, installed. 5) 5)The rear differential ‘clutch’ sometimes makes a ‘dull thump’ when starting off from a dead stop and turning at the same time. This has been doing this since 100K miles and the dealer thinks it’s just the clutch ‘sticking’ every once in a while. It doesn’t affect performance. 6) 6)The front hood struts that hold the hood open, don’t hold and you need to prop the hood open manually. There’s no point replacing them, again unless you felt compelled for some reason. 7) 7) driver’s seat: one panel of the seat nearest the door is worn. I believe you could remove the seat and have a new panel sewn in if you wanted. That’s all I know that needs attention—total disclosure. The BIN PRICE reflects all the above already. A BIN of $7195 for this vehicle is a TRUE STEAL. Kelly Blue Book says $9850- $12600 for this car and I’ve seen comparable years/miles selling for $9K-$13K on Ebay. I can probably donate it and get a bigger tax write-off than selling it for $7195, so if there are any hassles with this auction, that’s what I’ll do. You can examine and test drive the vehicle M-F 6a to 3p at my office in Carmel Mountain, on 12316 World Trade Drive # 102, just off the 15 in San Diego, CA. The reason there's a 'duplicate title' shown is that I thought I lost the title, and got a duplicate issued, but then I found it. You will get the ORIGINAL title and the duplicate.
