1981 PONTIAC TURBO TRANS AM Hello selling this beautiful 81 Turbo T/A all original 34,131 original miles. Here is how I came across this car. It was bought brand new at Jim Causley Pontiac in 1981 for a young man by his parents, They then took the car to Ziebart and had rust protection put on the the car (Very thorough). He drove the car for 3-4 years as a summer car and then he passed away. His parents left the car in the garage where it sat until they finally decided to part with it in 2003. They sold it to a local dealer who put it in a local auction and it was sold to a man in West Bloomfield Mi. He bought the car thinking it would be great for his 17 year old son, But when he brought the car home his son hated the car..So it sat again.He put new mufflers on the car due to the originals rotting out, And put a new battery and tires on the car. I bought it from him early this year. My plans were to keep this car as I just love it, But my wife and I have decided to buy a new home, So the car now must be sold. This Trans Am comes complete with the window sticker, dealer invoice, 2 sets original keys, 2 original 1981 Mi plates, 8 owners booklets, dealer brochure, Full PHS DOCS, full set of mud flaps that have been on it from new, Pontiac key ring, 2 Trans Am key rings, 80'S safety metal lock knobs. Everything you would have gotten when bought new! The condition of this car is amazing, It has about 70-80% original paint, And it looks fantastic. It's had some blow ins but that's all and it shines great. Interior of the car is all original, even the carpet, it is just beautiful shows really no wear at all, Floors are still covered with the original sound deading and insulation, They are factory fresh. Engine bay looks like a 2-3 year old engine bay..Very nice and clean, Trunk is perfect, spare tire never been on the ground, all decals are present in the trunk and the trunk carpet looks like new. All the rubber on the car is super nice and all the glass is perfect as well. EVERYTHING ON THE CAR WORKS...EVERY LIGHT, BOTH CLOCKS, AIR CONDITIONING EVERYTHING...The car was never in the winter, and never left out in the elements, and there is no question when you look the car over it's really amazing. It has ZERO RUST I MEAN ZERO.Runs drives and stops just as it should its ready to go! Overall this car is a beautiful survivor and highly optioned.. It has all the performance options including WS6 and most all the luxury options. In fact, I believe it has every option, except T-tops and remote trunk release. I just this year put in a new battery and had the air cond converted to the new freeon and recharged, its ready to go, blows strong!! I also had a new correct windshield put in due to a freeway accident in 2003( debris hit the windshield) The previous owner never got around to replacing it. Other than a few tiny dings and some paint chips that were touched up on the tops of the front fenders I would rate the car pretty much perfect. The dings are hard to see because the car is silver metallic. Very hard to find a 2nd gen this original and this nice. AGAIN ITS NOT RESTORED AND NEVER BEEN APART. Please call with any questions.
