Vehicle Detail

I have a 1979 Jeep CJ-7 up for a "no reserve" auction, so bid to win. The Jeep runs good, drives good and stops good. It has a list of new parts that have been installed in the last month that include a new battery, solenoid switch, ignition switch, key and cylinder, clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, pilot bearing, clutch linkage adjustment rods, 2 brand new front tires, bikini top and power steering belt. The radiator and starter were replaced about 4 months ago. The Jeep has a set of 15X10 aluminum wheels with 33X12.50 mud terrain tires, Smittybilt chrome nerf bars and a 4" suspension lift with shocks and steering stabilizer from Skyjacker. The Jeep has some rust issues that have been repaired already and some that need repair or you can just ride it as is, depending on what you want to do with the Jeep and how nice you want to make it. The floorpans have had some repair with sheet metal and some body filler. The frame has had repair at the ends near the back bumper with 3/16" metal. It looks good and strong and I see no problems with the welding or function of the repairs. The frame has one other spot on the inside that is starting to rust thru (see pics). Its not real bad yet and could be fixed with a piece of 1/8" flat metal or ride it as is. The headlights, park lights, tail lights and brake lights work. The Jeep does need a dimmer switch installed. It needs a set of windshield wipers. The oil pressure, amp and speedometer work also. The fuel gauge does not work. I have all the hardware for a soft-top, a set of soft doors and a set of 1/2 safari doors that go with the Jeep also. The front seats are not the original Jeep seats, nor or the brackets. The rear seat is a Jeep seat, but has no seat belts and will need to be mounted. The transfer case, transmission and rear end is fine and works good. The front differential needs a yoke and the front driveshaft installed. I have the drive shaft to go with the Jeep. The Jeep looks pretty good from 15 feet away and could be driven as is with minimal work, but it needs a little work and thats the reason the price is so cheap. The parts alone are worth close to what the price is on this Jeep. I am posting pics to try and show all the good and bad of the Jeep. I will be glad to answer any and all questions to the best of my ability. I check my email daily, so feel free to ask. I reserve the right to end the auction early, as the Jeep is for sale locally. Thanks for looking and bid to win. I also have a local shipper that I can put the winning bidder in contact with that is very reasonable. On Jul-02-14 at 04:36:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a used Black soft top that I am going to include with the sale of this Jeep also.
