1986 Mercedes 560SEL AS-IS Sale Not Running. Vehicle is in pretty good shape with some minor dings, scratches and paint chipping. Paint is starting to oxidize. We are not mechanics but we suspect it needs a good tune up, all the fluids flushed and a new battery. It needs new brakes and tires. We have had it parked on the side of our house since late 2009 and covered for most of that time. We have a certificate of non-operation on it. Prior to 2009 we had it parked in the garage. Vehicle was running rough in 2009 and did not pass smog so we parked it and decided to address it later but never did. Vehicle is black with gray interior. Chrome wheels are starting to pit and need a good polishing. There are some cracks in the dashboard and the top of the drivers door. The top of the back seat in the center needs restitching. Otherwise, the interior is in pretty good shape. We have owned this car since 1992. There was one minor collision to the right rear prior to us owning it but that has never given us any issues. We have just purchased two new cars, so this one has to go, otherwise, we would keep it and restore it ourselves because it is a beautiful impressive car.
