Up for sale is this 2000 Mercury Cougar- 2 door, 5 speed with Clean title. Selling the vehicle as Whole and buyer can either part it out or use as a project and repair it. As for now it does Start,Run & is drive-able, However the vehicle has does smoke from the muffler when driving it. I had a mechanic come out to do a minor inspection to give me an idea of what needs to be repaired & based on his inspection he said The EG Valves may need to be adjusted or even replaced or It can be the O rings. There may or may not be some transmission issues due to the clutch grinding after a brand new clutch was put in. It only grinds when shifting into the 3rd gear. other then that all other gears are quite. The vehicle does need a few cosmetic repairs on the body of the vehicle & needs a deep cleaning on the inside. The Key has been broke in half in side the ignition but the other half which has the chip can still be used to turn on & off the engine with no problem. A new key and ignition can be easily obtained from the dealer ship.The vehicle has a New Clutch & Fuel Pump only 5 months old & the motor mounts have also been replaced. Included is a JVC Face- off CD Player/Stero with Bluetooth; Audio & USB. This car can be really nice for anyone who has the ability & time to repair it or it could be great to someone who just needs the parts. Either way is simply up to the buyer & I am simply interested in selling it ASAP. This was my only means of transportation and am needing to sell this one to get another one.
