For sale is a 1987 Ford F-250 4WD XLT Lariat 6.9L International Harvester Diesel, Automatic, Regular Cab. The truck has 60,880 original miles. It is in remarkable condition. This is a two-owner truck which has only lived in the West. We have a very dry climate, so there is no rust. The truck has never been in an accident, never re-painted, and never smoked in. It has the 6.9L International Harvester Diesel Engine. It has all the standard XLT Lariat features for this year and many other options. Here are some features of the truck: On the floor 4x4 with manual locking hubsAutomatic transmissionFront and Rear Chrome BumpersTrailer hitch receiverLuverne Running boardsBedliner (There is also a spray-in liner below the drop-in liner) Energize Electric trailer brake"Gear Vendor" Overdrive Upgraded Air Conditioning from R12 to 134A"ATS" Turboand much more. Detailed description: The truck drives excellent and the engine runs strong. All of the upgrades were installed and major maintenance completed by J & S DIESEL in Las Vegas. Stanadyne Permormance Fuel Additive is added at every fuel fill-up. The truck has an aftermarket ATS Turbo (in this time frame, the ATS Turbo was a common upgrade). It also has a "Gear Vendor" Overdrive which was installed when the truck was only a few years old. If you are not familiar with these systems, please research them, so you can know what they are and how they operate. The truck has also been equipped with a manual bypass switch for the glow plugs. (The push button is under the dash as can be seen in a picture below). The power steering pump and AC compressor have been replaced within the last year. The suspension and braking are very tight. The wheels and center caps are in remarkable condition for this year. The fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge are sometimes erratic. J & S Diesel has tested the oil pressure, confirming the oil pressure is at normal levels, and does not dip as shown on the gauge. (From what I've read, this issue is pretty typical for these years.) The Michelin 235/85/16 tires are E-Rated. Two of the tires have minimal tread remaining (less than 30%) and the other two have approximately 40-50% tread remaining. There are approximately 3-5 drops of oil per day on the concrete where the truck is parked. On the inside, the truck looks very close to new. The seats are amazingly clean and have very little wear. From the headliner, to the dash, to the instrument panel, everything is in exceptional condition. There are no cracks, stains, or fading. The carpet has always been covered with floor mats. Everything on the truck works including all the power windows, locks, etc. This truck has never been smoked in, so it doesn’t have any type of odor. The Air Conditioner has been upgraded / retrofitted to 134A. On the outside, the truck is in amazing condition. The paint is a 9.5 on a scale of 10. There are no dents, scrapes, or other eyesores which detract from the overall appearance. There are no dents or dings in the bumpers. There is a spray-in Rhino Liner below the installed bedliner. The bedliner was installed because the Rhino Liner was very faded and there were eyelit holes from a fifth wheel mount. The most notable cosmetic imperfections on the truck are as follows: A small ding on passenger's side wheel lip molding; a couple of small dings on the tailgate; and paint chipped on bed near tailgate. These items are clearly shown in the pictures. Otherwise, very light wear and tear. This truck really looks like it could be 3-4 years old with maybe 20-30k miles on it. The pictures really don't do this truck justice. It is in excellent condition! It is very straight and has been well cared for. If you plan on having the truck shipped and would like an inspection performed at a local Ford dealer, please let me know and I will assist. I will not pay for the inspections but am happy to take it to a shop for you. I will not be selling the truck outside of the auction format and do not have a buy it now, so please respect that.
