While other versions certainly had their strong points, the 1970 Camaro was simply the best all around Camaro ever built.. The Camaro had matured. It surpassed its predecessor in refinement, acceleration, and balance. Car & Driver called the 1970 Camaro, "an automobile of uncommon merit". A car of brilliant performance. The 396 Big Block is brand new with only a few hundred miles on it. An upgrade to the engine was a Serpentine Belt System which was almost $2,000. The engine now has been re-worked to provide over 500hp. This Power House is connected to the TH400 transmission. This is one Bad Bow Tie!! New Traction Bars were also installed. All wiring has been replaced with a painless wire harness with an updated fuse block. Also upgraded for 2300, was the vintage air conditioner, which blows ice cold. Bid with confidence.
