The 3000 MK111 known by its chassis number prefex BJ8 was the end of the line for the Big Healey which dated back to the 4 cylinder 100 introduced in 1952. The Austin Healey Mark 111 was the most developed and evolved and included an inline 6 cylinder engine. Walnut veneer dash, roll up windows and a top that can be raised with one hand from inside the vehicle. This version came with the very powerful 2.912cc 6 cylinder engine making 148 H.P.
