PLEASE NOTE, I WILL ADD MORE PHOTOS TOMORROW< WE HAD A FREAK THUNDERSTORM ROLL IN AND IT THWARTED MY PHOTO SESSION!! THIS CAR IS CLEAN AS A PIN UNDERNEATH. THERE IS NO BONDO IN THIS CAR. Here we have a nice 1968 mustang convertible that I purchased from the original owner who passed away. This car came from the San Jose, California plant and the previous owner was in administration there and his wife wanted a new convertible in '68 but didn't like the '68 quarter trim and was able to get a 1968 mustang convertible with the '67 type quarter trim. The car has new frame rails, new floors, new heater assembly, new interior, new fuel tank, turn signal hood, new top with 2-piece glass rear window, new tires, new FORD windshield ($800), all new suspension and leaf springs,new exhaust,all new brakes and hardware, rebuilt engine and manual transmission with 575 miles on them now, new radiator, one new fender, new chrome, etc..... This is a clean car. I have been driving it daily on nice days. Everything works great and it runs fine but it hesitates a lttle sometimes on take off and I found out that I purchased the wrong carb for it. It has an autolite 1100 on it but it only has one accelerator pump and it needs the carb with dual acc. pumps. O-Reilly autoparts can get the correct one but it hasn't been bothering me enough to change it. I AM MOVING AND THIS CAR MUST GO THIS WEEK. I have it advertised locally and I thought I would put it on here to maybe sell it quicker. I am also going to be listing all of the stuff to convert it to a v-8 in another auction. I have a brand new, well built 1968 289 engine with all of the Cobra goodies, a freshly rebuilt top loader 4 speed with shifter, a new clutch, gt wheels, rear-end, new motor mounts, new v-8 radiator and factory '68 front disc brake assemblies.
