I'm looking to move on to a classic American car at this point, and as much fun as it has been working on my Volvo, my garage can only hold one project at a time, so it's time to sell.This is a 1966 1800S, and it is in excellent condition. Runs great and starts every time. Over the last year, I've replaced the floor pans which had rust, stripped the interior, painted with POR-15 to rust-proof it, added dynamat and dynapad to cut down on heat and sound transmission, then reassembled the interior. I also restored the original seatbelt hardware (with new, modern belts) to keep the classic look and feel of the interior. Under the hood, I've cleaned it up a bit, upgraded the alternator, replaced the exhaust manifold, upgraded to an AGM battery. I have also had the rest of the exhaust system tightened up (had been rattling when I bought it) and replaced the old muffler. It has new progressive springs in the suspension, and I have new shocks ready to go for it in the trunk.The frame and skin of the car have no rust, no dents, and have never known bondo.These cars last a lifetime, and one of them (also a 1966) currently holds the world record for personal vehicle mileage at over 3 million miles. Routine maintenance will keep this car on the road forever. That said, my project with this car was not completed. The gas tank could stand to be dropped and cleaned out, as I believe there is some sludge in there. Fuel filter stays clean though, so I don't think it's an issue of concern right now. I never did get around to installing an A/C or sound system in the car, and there is an electrical fault in the brake lights.I'll include all the parts I was going to install, and all the spares with this sale including an alternate muffler, and a full set of brake calipers among others.
