Vehicle Detail

VIDEO------- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBZAuUY79Jw On the 4th day of may year 1976 Leonard Allen ,chief of the ocean springs volunteer fire dept. took delivery of his depts. brand new 1975 IH 1-TON 4X4 PICKUP. Ocean Springs is a quaint little town in Mississippi and their volunteer fire dept. consisted of a handful of dedicated firefighters that gave most every spare moment of their time volunteering for the city of Ocean Springs. As with most fire dept vehicles, this truck was taken care of with the utmost pride of ownership. all maintenance done as needed. I had this truck shipped here from mississippi after getting it from the fire chief that was around it for the last 20 plus years. I love taking these old trucks and giving them new life. i usually drive them for a summer or at least a few months , taking them to shows and enjoying them before i find someone to " adopt" them. sometimes i make money on them that i re-invest in feeding my hobby sometimes i go backwards. either way its a great hobby that i enjoy. i have had several internationals from all over the nation and have a client list that is growing year by year. please look at my feedback on ebay and you will see that i have 100% satisfaction. when your selling big ticket items thats not an easy task! but please know that i do not misrepresent the IH's i sell. its not worth one sale when negative feedback will destroy any future sales! i am here to tell you, this 75 pickup is hands down the most perfect truck i have ever had the pleasure to work with! ( rust wise). it has such a fantastic 1-owner history with such low documented miles i felt it deserved the thousands upon thousands of dollars it took to get it to where it is today. Now please know, i fully understand some of you will absolutely HATE the fact that it does not have an original IH box on it. i get it. also know though that it never did have an original box, it had a pierce pumper body on it so in my mind i wasn t destroying anything original. aside from the box the truck is as close to 100% the way it rolled off the line. additionally, for you purists, you can attach 4 straps onto this box, lift it off, and place an 8' international box on. there you have it, original!!! the 2013 dodge dually box that is on it was a brand new take off from a dealer in southern indiana. they remove the beds and replace them with utility flatbeds for customers. then sell the box. ( $2500) so anyways on to the truck, the truck has had the frame completely professionally blasted and painted with emron, the paint will not come off and it has a shiny show quality finish. the mounts for the box were professionally built and mounted by a machine shop. the tires are new, wheels are new ( $2600), the cab was professionally painted with ZERO body filler!!! there was no rust whatsoever in this vehicle!! as stated earlier the box was purchased new ( 2500) and mounted with professional fabricators ( 2200), the exhaust is brand new from the manifolds back ( 400), the seat was removed and reupholstered proffesionaly ( 550) , the carpet i ordered with new rubber weatherstripping and installed ( 500), i had to put brand new lifters in the 392 v-8 from setting, when i had the lifters done i also had new gas tank electric lines run and a new tank transfer switch installed ( 680) . i found an original international tow hitch and original IH chrome front bumper ( 260) , i had the company that puts together the fire trucks for our local city remove the firebody ( 900) on top of all that i have many, many labor hours getting it to show quality. when you add in the 1550 charge to ship it from mississippi i have $12,140.00 dollars in reciept, NOT COUNTING the value of the truck, or labor hours for all. ( my point is , dont think your going to steal this truck!) So if you want a 1 of 1 basically new 1975 show quality international pickup bid with confidence! here is your 1 and only chance! a truck like this with this kind of proven history does not come along every day! SOMETIMES ITS BETTER TO SPEND A LITTLE MORE THAN YOU WANT, THAN A LITTLE LESS THAN YOU SHOULD!. email with any questions and be sure to watch my video of the truck! thanks, kevinOn Jun-03-14 at 09:26:18 PDT, seller added the following information: THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR BIDDING...I JUST LOWERED THE RESERVE ON THIS TRUCK TO WAY, WAY BELOW WHAT I HAVE INTO IT. YES THIS IS ONE IM GOING TO APPARENTLY GO BACKWARDS ON,,,,BIG TIME. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!! THIS TRUCK IS GOING TO SELL!!! SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET A FANTASTIC DEAL NO THIS TRUCK. BID TO OWN IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED! KEVIN
