Vehicle Detail
Here is a great start to either a restoration or a custom car. It's a 1973 Chevy Impala 4-door sedan. Straight body with minimal rust for being 41 years old, has normal scratches and wear. Not many factory yellow Impala's left. It starts, runs and drives around but could use a fresh tank of gas to replace the 4 year old stuff. Very strong 350 engine that sounds like it has a higher lift camshaft than stock. Good shifting turbo 350 transmission. Single Flowmaster exhaust, sounds like it has duals and it and has plenty of power. It has chrome reverse rims with baby moon hubcaps and wide tires. Car has a good stance to it. I do have an original black dash that is crack free and will offer it to the new buyer if they wish to purchase, along with any other parts needed. I have owned this car for around 4 years and since I am in the business of selling 1971-76 Impala and Caprice parts I kept it around with future plans to restore it and drive it at the same time. My plans have changed and I would love to see someone who is looking for an affordable old school Impala buy it and enjoy it. In Kansas, antique cars 35 years or older are sold on a Kansas Department of Revenue bill of sale. I have sold many older cars that way and never had an issue. I will provide all the proper paperwork to ensure that the sale goes smoothly. As with all used cars I always recommend transporting them rather than to make an outlandish claim that the car could "drive across the country without issue". I would be willing to discuss transporting the Impala to your location if you are the winner. I have delivered many cars that I have sold for less cost than the transport companies charge and I am far more careful to ensure it arrives safely. I have a Dodge diesel 1 ton 4x4 truck and 20 foot steel deck car hauler with the proper tie downs and have transported cars for over 20 years safely. I have set a very reasonable reserve on the car at what the parts value alone is if I parted out the car. I will only sell this one whole. Good luck, happy bidding....I am happy to answer any questions you may have...
