Car to be sold at NO RESERVE 1967 Chevelle SS 396 / 375hp featured in Muscle Car Enthusiast in the January, 2004 edition. 48,427 actual miles 138177 VIN This car is a 3 owner real SS. The last owner had the car for 22 years and never used it! Chevelle is an original, ultra-rare paint code KK- Emerald Turquoise with matching original code 776 Turquoise bench seat interior. Build date in the first week of July. Paint: Paint is done in factory package lacquer- NO two stage here! Door jams and inside trunk are original paint. Interior: The interior has original upholstery and door panels with new carpet and headliner. Drive Line: Car is reported to be a real 375hp car, one of 612 produced in 1967. The article in Muscle Car Enthusiast (January, 2004) eludes to that fact. Speaking to the last owner, it was ordered as a 375hp L78 by the original owner who bought it to drag race. I have no documentation to prove these facts. Motor: Now is a 1968 375hp, 4 bolt, main casting #3935440 block. Extensive receipts show a full balance & blueprint, etc. This motor runs like a Swiss watch! Trans: M-20 wide ratio 4 speed in excellent condition. Rear: 12 bolt 4.10 to 1 Positraction original to the car casting #3917124. Body: Original, all-steel body panels as shown in photos. The car is straight and flawless.
