For your consideration is a 1978 BMW R100/7 Airhead, Veh. ID #6148039. Free and clear title with only 26,806 original miles, this bike has been in storage for the last six years. Please see description below: Included with the bike, the original Owner’s and Service manuals, an unopened BMW plastic service coverall, and a nice set of factory BMW quick-detach hard bags. After sitting in storage, there are a few items that need attention. Clutch needs to be adjusted, brakes are frozen (lack of use) and needs new in-line fuel filters, battery, gas cap, and bar grips. There are signs of age on some parts of the paint job (most notably, the battery covers), but with a little TLC, this would be an excellent daily driver. A temporary battery was installed and runs perfectly. Given this is a 36 year old bike, it is an "as is" sale. Please send your questions and specific picture requests!!!
