Here's a decent project nearly ready to cruise....I'd be lying if I said I knew a ton about this car...err....truck. Super solid car. Minimal work to be roadworthy. No signs of major accidents or repairs. It's been sitting for about a year or so. It was a running and driving car, but now it's missing it's one barrel carb and it's gas tank...and a headlight. They were used to finish another project so the car will need to be trailered or tow-dollied home. It does roll and steer, etc. Otherwise, those items re-installed gets you into a fun cruiser for cheap....NO RESERVE!!! As you can see, most of the trim is intace and nice. Not all beat up or bent. Bumpers look solid and straight altho the chrome is smoked. Me personally, I'd paint em body color after a choice is made. MINIMAL rust...mostly just surface because the paint is faded and thin. ALL easily repairable and solid to work with. Even the bed flooring is solid. Please inspect the pics...yes there are dents and dings but still a great base to turn it into whatever your designs take you! Dent in the rear tailgate altho should easily be popped out. Below you can see another dent. Hard to see the dent in the door but it's there...like a scrape. Below altho the headlight bulb is gone, the trim rings are in the car ready for reinstallation. Obviously the interior has seen better days but it's still pretty cool being the cream/white color. Most of this older stuff can easily be repainted or redyed to your likings. Note the trim rings and air cleaner on the floor. Complete minus carb and gas tank! THESE are the kinds of things I love to pull from an older car!!! Complete NICE CONDITION factory manuals!! Also has the original owner's info!!! Golden. Edges and door sills are solid with no holes or crusty rust spots. Trim plates look great. Shots of the underside of the vehicle....I don't know why....because the car is solid most everywhere else....but the passenger rearward floorpan was cut out and roughly patched. Yet the driver's side is nice. Again...minimal repairs later or leave it as is. Engine isn't covered in oil. No signs of any dripping or major leaks...oil, coolant or fluids. Exhaust is intact. Rear axle is a carrier type like a 9 inch but must be the smaller unit made back then. Plenty strong I'm sure. Note the minimal surface rust. No way this car sat in a field or a driveway. BEGGIN for a fuel cell!!! Or....airbags?!? Plenty of potential!! Matching tires are even in great usable shape!! The engine compartment is amazingly clean altho dusty...layered in dust actually. No options. Simple and easy to maintain. Even comes with a battery altho it's dead. Hopefully you can slap a strong charge on it and save it!! Clutch feels like it operates properly...plenty of tension. Gears thru the 3 on the tree shift easily. Brakes are manual and feel like a manual setup...stiff yet proper. No rust areas in the engine compartment to be concerned with. I actually miss these old school cars and their simplicity. Those days are gone, but you can have em back when you buy this car!!
