No stories here, just a nicely used 44 year old Honda. This is a 4 speed honda ct 70, pretty nice mostly original old bike, the build date is 11-70, vin # CT70 H 139066, Engine # CT 70 HE 138855. The bike has just over 5500 miles, over it,s 44 years there have been a couple changes from completely original, most obvious is the K1 style seat,looks to have been on her quite a while. Then you will notice the clutch lever ( handle) has been changed,it is the solid white molded plastic also changed sometime ago, and a rear view mirrow was added at some point along the way.The things that I have changed are the original kick start lever had a crack so it was replace with a correct aftermarket. Replacement battery, and the right hand "Important" vehicle information sticker is a correct replacement. Other than that most all screws, cables and clamps appear to be original. The front tire could possibly be the original Bridgestone Trail Wing, the rear tire is a Riken brand tire, both hold air however do have age related cracking.The bike starts on the first kick, runs and shifts smoothly. No leaks or smoke of any kind. Everything on the bike works, headlight high/low beam, high beam indicator,speedo,odometer,horn,brake and tail light all work as they should, the throttle does not want to fully return on its own,not a problem for an experienced rider.As you can see in the pictures there are some battle scars, the handle bars have some knicks in the chrome from being tied close to something during transportation, the paint and chrome fenders are pretty decent for the age, the bike looks great from 5 - 10 ' obviously for its age there are certain imperfections, overall though she looks pretty good.
