1959 Austin Healey bug-eye sprite. Frame off restoration with body bead blasted repaired where needed, undercoated and painted. The bonnet is hinged forward for easy access to the engine compartment. The engine is a 1098cc 4cylinder that has been reconditioned and a unleaded gas cylinder installed. It is fitted with an electronic ingnition. Carburation is a Weber 32/34 downdraft. A new cross flow radiator was installed, new thermostat, water pump, and all hoses replaced. A new high output, high the, trouble free starter was just installed. Rebuilt, ribbed 4speed transmission that shifts beautifully and stays in gear.New clutch, pressure plate, clutch bearing, and disc installed. The brake system was completely overhauled with new master and slave cylinder and disc brakes added to the front for safer stopping. The interior upholstery is new , carpeting, tonneau cover and top all new. The side curtains are in excellent condition. New tires. She starts right up, runs strong and is tons of fun to drive. All gauges, turn signals, light etc. are in operating order. The fuel gauge works but is not accurate. Many other parts and upgrades too. It is a fine example of a classic British sports car
