This was the family car, it had a manual transmission that was removed approximately 2 years ago and the car has sat ever since. What I thought was a simple clutch replacement turned out to be a ruined transmission. So I went about doing the job myself. When I removed the transmission to replace the clutch I accidentally left the very top bolt in the transmission housing, I couldn't tell there was another up there. So when I pryed, it broke off the top ear of the bell-housing while I was trying to pry the trans out of it's snug position. So that made the core no good and us with about a 5k bill from cadillac if we wanted to fix it. At the time you couldn't find a used transmission because being one of 230 produced that year with the manual transmission, you could not find a used one anywhere. Now you can find them for $700 new on the web by searching, yes a new OEM Getrag transmission evidently over-runs in production because they are OEM.  But now because the car has sat, there is mold in the car from a leaking window seal and never being opened up and aired out. The car has been covered the entire time for the last 2 years minus a couple times the cover blew off. As you can see from the pictures the car is in excellent cosmetic shape both inside and out. The delima with me just fixing it is I still don't have the money to invest and even if I fixed the tranny the wife swears she'll never ride it in again because of the mold, she has this thing with mold. It does just wipe off, but who knows... To be clear: THERE IS NO TRANSMISSION IN THIS CAR AS IT IS, AND IT IS BEING SOLD AS IT IS A new manual clutch kit is included; clutch plate, throw out bearing, alignment tool There is also no key included, we have lost it and cannot find it anywhere, bid accordingly. Of course there is an engine, and it and everything was working great before the transmission fiasco. Regardless, there are a lot of high quality great shape parts on this car, new headlights, great leather, what appear as stains or wear is mold, and it wipes right off of the seats, steering wheel, I left it on to show what the mold looked like.
