1981 Volkswagen turbo diesel caddy rabbit truck. The motor is the 1.6L TURBO DIESEL with a 5 speed transmission. The motor was rebuilt two years ago, with all machine work done by Dan Hall, a well known machinist in the Portland area. There is just about 1,000 miles on the rebuild, and 148,000 miles on the body. Everything is pretty original. Since I bought it four years ago, I've chased down any little interior bit I could find to make it as stock as possible. The body is nice and straight, but there is a bit of wear and tear from age, but that's what I wanted. There is no rust in the usual rust areas...Shock towers, pillars, or floor. Tailgate is fully functional as well. Suspension is race land coil overs up front and 2.5" drop placates in the rear with air shocks. Title is clean and in my name. MY RESERVE IS $4500.
