1965 Shelby AC Cobra 427. Built by the best AC builder, Superperformance. Chassis number SP01826 built in 2004 but titled as a 1965 (currently has a Texas title). Roush 427R-041 motor with Edelbrock Pro-Flow fuel injection! Tremec 5 speed transmission. This car was built the correct way and runs & drives great! The fuel injection makes it start easily every time with no carb fiddling. Runs unreal - it is a real monster. Crazy torque and power. Clutch and drive train are in excellent condition - the car has really been babied since built. The 17" polished wheels (spin-offs) have 275/40 front tires, 335/35 rears in like new condition. QA1 adjustable shocks were also added. I am the second owner. The car was ordered with the Roush 427R motor from Michigan. Has a dual plane intake. Paperwork from Roush indicate 532HP@5900rpm, 543TQ@4400rpm on an engine dyno at sea level. Edelbrock Pro-Flo Fuel Injection system was added after the build. More details at their website listed below. The transmission is a Cobra R Heavy Duty Tremec 5 Speed. Leather seats, floormats, radiator bug screen, clear vinyl on front of rear fender and a fire extinguisher are included as well as toneau top, removable convertible top, and car cover. It starts without hesitation due to the fuel injection and the use of a battery tender. The engine doesn't feel like it wants to die under idle speeds compared to cars that are carburated. The fuel injection adds so much more to the experience. No flaws with engine, transmission, drivability and other mechanical parts of this car. The car has never been on a racetrack, oil changed regularly, driven around town for slow leisure rides. No accidents, no scratches and no door dings. The motor is STRONG and the build quality of the Superformance is excellent.
