Vehicle Detail

1991 Camaro Z-28 3rd Generation Convertible Sharp looking shiny jet-black convertible. 305 V8 5.0 Tuned port injection with an Automatic transmission, Engine runs well, transmission shifts smoothly and the cars exhaust has a mean sounding low rumble to it. 134k original miles Power Windows, locks, steering, brakes, tilt and such. Nearly new General Tires. I only took a close up of one tire (didn't want to waste the eBay photo space) but all 4 have the same amount of tread and were purchased as a set. Cold A/C The body of the car is in nice condition, the black 2 year old paint looks great and shines well. The nose, lower front valance and rear bumper are in great shape with none of the typical spider cracks. The slate gray interior is in nice shape as well, the bucket seats have faded some, but are still in good condition, the black carpet looks good. Both doors rubber window seal sweeps have been replaced on both the inside and outside of the car. Top is a few years old, but it’s tight and in decent shape, the plastic rear window is still fairly clear. The trunk has the automatic closing mechanism on it and works as it should, it closes the trunk properly. (This was a factory option that I never understood the use for, why would I need the cars assistance to close the trunk? What was GM thinking?) The few things that will need attention or that you at least need to be aware of are as follows. There are a few scratches and a couple of dings and such on the car, none of any size, nothing that would show up in the photographs that I took, there are a couple of dimples in the right rear quarter, but I can’t see them in the pictures to highlight. The dash has some cracks in it from the sun (Pictured), the plastic piece that covers the area beneath the gearshift in the center console is missing a section (Pictured), The tachometer doesn’t work, some of rubber and plastic pieces around the doors sides are dried out. The cruise and horn aren’t working (The cruise needs a new servo, and the horn isn’t connected to the aftermarket steering wheel that the previous owner installed, the passenger side window is slow, and lastly, the power lock actuators are weak and don’t always completely lock the doors when the button is pushed the first time. (This is a $75.00 repair at the car audio shop, I just had these done on my nieces car). I took the car to an auto trim and upholstery shop some awhile ago, as the top was kinda loose. They stretched and tightened it, but shortly afterwards, the bottom section where it meets the cars body turned up at the edges. I had the same shop clean the seats and door panels and now they are kinda loose. I should have just left well enough alone! Lol I've taken the car to a few of the local car shows or meets and it's always well received, we basically go there to eat and check out other peoples cars, it's a good time. If you are local or even if you’re not, I invite and encourage you if at all possible to inspect the Camaro prior to bidding. I’m in West Palm Beach Florida. Anyway, if you want to know anything else, just shoot me an email. Thanks!
