I have had three people "purchase" this car on ebay now over the last several months, only to end up not coming to get it, and falling through after holding it for a month or so each time. I hate to be frank like this, but I keep getting jerked around, and I want to find this Mini a good home so I can continue with other things in life. Up for sale is my 1960 Morris Mini project, same body style as an Austin Mini Cooper. Second year of production, first year of USA import, left hand USA drive. Hard to find early MK1 car, with cool early features. Center binnacle, riveted wheels, sliding door glass, external hinges, etc. Restoration has been started. Body work was completed about 10 years ago. Paint is nice, but not perfect. Few scratches and scuffs here and there. Final cut and buff was never done, so most should come out when this is preformed. It was painted a late 90's GM SUV dark metallic blue with white top. There are a few spots where there must have been a little rust under body work that have slightly bubbled, but these spots are still solid and I do not think they would need any attention for some time, again, its been 10 years plus and they have only showed up very small. Floor pans have had some repair in the past, from the inside, you cannot even tell, it was a good job. You can only tell if you go under it where you can see the cut lines and pans placed over and sealed. There is a little rust inside the rear of the front fender wells, but not very much. Needs full restoration finished. Originally an Arizona car (read all interior and rubber toasted) and has been off the road for probably 25+ years. 850cc motor (turns smoothly and I have oiled the cylinders recently for protection), spare gear boxes, and all parts in bins included in sale. I do not know exactly what is missing to complete restoration. I would love to work on this but I just do not have the time. My eyes were bigger than my ambitions on this one, so I want it to go to a good home that will actually finish putting it together the way it deserves. I wanted to put together and do a little SCCA on the track fun, as people say these are great cars for that. I have the door not pictured. This is a solid start to a fun little car. Everything is boxed up, engine/trans back in the car and bolted down, front and rear glass is in and taped down, door hinges and latches installed, same with trunk, trunk and interior loaded with all spare parts, side glass packed up, and all is ready for pickup. As mentioned I sold it a few times to non local buyers, that were supposed to transport it, so it is ready for transport right now, everything in car, so no other loading would have to be done. I will try to include a few extra pics of as it sits right now when I get a moment. Parts included: BRAND NEW Passenger door hinges 2 bell housings 2 radiators, one has full fan shroud, one has pieces sun visor assembly, material cracked from heat. Smiths heater assembly Wiper motor/linkage/pivots/cable Gas tank strap Carb Coil Tail Light Chrome Bases Tail Light lenses (Export red upper and lower lenses)) 1 turn signal lens/assembly 3 shifters, one just the shifter, two have knobs Dash switch panel engine oil filter assembly, spare Door hand and latch, looks to be for passenger door not installed passengers door spare water pump oil clutch and parts defroster vents jack bumperettes license plate light assembly 1 windshield wiper engine fan hood latch and catch trunk t handle Generator 2 clutch covers (one is cracks so only for parts left on it) Misc transmission parts Spare Dunlop rubber suspension cone misc engine pieces/brackets/parts Fly wheels Misc nuts and bolts, some restored some not Trans u joints, look to be in poor condition Door hinges and parts, assume for passenger door. One needs to be repinned Center binnacle mount Speedometer 2 license plate brackets, one nicer, once unrestored all side window glass front windshield read window glass body pinch weld trim, not painted to match Lucas electronic regulator Plastic wheel arches/flares Tail Light Lenses Bumpers (five bolt) poor shape exhaust 2 spare transmissions, not sure if complete spare differential Other misc parts I do not know the origin of Things I have noticed are not there from taking inventory, but again, not exact to only things missing, just things I have noticed: 1 turn signal and base assembly, 1 head light assembly, 1 windshield wiper. As stated Arizona car so most soft materials were tossed on diss assembly.
