Up for auction is a very nice, low mileage SV 1000N that has been adult owned since new. If you are looking at SV1000's you know that the bike has a cult like following, and that it is difficult to find a naked model that is in nice shape. This bike has been well maintained, has mainly been used for sport touring the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas and Missouri, and has an absolutely addictive V-Twin rumble. The bike is mostly stock with a pair of Yoshimura cans installed, a factory Suzuki chin spoiler, a TRE switch (timing retarder eliminator), and frame sliders. This bike has not ever been wrecked. Two years ago some rust started to develop inside the fuel tank during the storage period of Winter due to ethanol fuel. I only use "ethanol free" fuel in my machines, but a family member fueled it before storage with ethanol based fuel unknown to me at the time. Upon the Spring service, I noticed it and immediately pulled the tank and replaced it. The current tank is pristine, was from a Copper SV1000, and has been painted to match this silver machine. The fuel pump and filter were serviced to make sure no problems would develop in the fuel system. There was never any mechanical issue with this problem. It has a fuel light & no gauge. So I opened the cap to do a slosh check before the first Spring ride & saw rust around the fuel neck. That was 2 years and 2500 miles ago, and the bike runs as great as it always has. I'm pretty meticulous about maintenance and "Cleanliness." This bike is very clean, & Always stored inside! The mirrors in the picture are from a KTM Super Duke, but will be changed back to the original mirrors, the saddle bags are display pics only, and the stock seat will replace the Corbin in the pictures. The bike has recently been serviced with a Repsol oil change, has good tires, and is ready to ride. Feel free to ask any questions.
