Up for sale is my 2003 F-250 Super Duty. I bought it on February 26th of this year, only 2 months ago. It currently has 90,0321 miles on it. The reason why I'm selling it is because I don't need a truck this heavy duty. The suspension has the snow plow package which has a front axle rating of 5,200 lbs VS a standard F-250 that has a front axle rating of between 3,800 lbs and 4,200 lbs. (see door sticker in photos). The truck rides like a F-350 in my opinion, which is way too stiff for me. The original owner used it for towing his horse trailer in Maryland, and never used it for construction or contracting. There was never a snow plow hooked to it. It has a "fifth wheel" tow hitch in the bed with electric hookup for the brakes in the bed along with the same 7 and 4 pin plug-in by the bumper hitch also. The fifth wheel ball removes easily by pulling the lever under the magnetic cover next to the ball in the bed. I put the toolbox from my 1999 pickup which is only held on by a few self tapping screws. This toolbox is included in the sale and is the large 'Knack' brand, it was over $500 dollars new. The original owner traded the truck into Auto Nation Chevrolet Timonium one week prior to my purchase. At the time of the trade-in it had service preformed including the following- Oil change and filter and Lube Rotate and balance wheels Mirror switch Wiper blade inserts Tag light bulbs Two front stabilizer links Upper and lower ball joints Wheel alignment Rear rotor refacing Rear brakes TOTAL COST - $2,598.45 The day after I purchased the truck I took it to Fred Beans and had them install 8 new coil packs for a TOTAL COST of $960.20 A week later I bought a new Bosch battery at Pep boys for $141.99 and an air filter for $22.99 A few weeks later when my title came from Harrisburg I was able to take it back to Fred Beans in West Chester and get the state inspection done along with a radiator flush and new fluid totaling $137.79 As you examine some of the pictures of the forms and receipts you'll see that they have the color listed as Blue. It's Black, and not Blue. Whoever buys this truck is getting a very clean solid rust-free truck that needs nothing. Thank you.
