1983 Austin Mini RHD.Runs and drives well. 1300cc motor, rebuilt carb, recent tune up, new exhaust manifold, new battery, new starter motor. Overall this car looks good from a distance and is a driver, however it has minor rust and cosmetic issues that the new owner can either live with or bring up to standard. This Mini was imported by myself for a friend over a year ago. Being a 1983 year model it could not be DMV registered due to no smog equipment (but this is not a problem in any state other than california, and should be easy to register). I have all the original import documents proving fees/duties paid, inspections cleared etc. It has been used on private roads, but now the owner has moved onto other projects and doesn't have time for the Mini. The seats are in good shape, and the wheels and tires are almost new. Currently the clutch seems to need adjustment - the pedal has to be pushed to the floor to disengage. This may be a simple fix but I have not had time to look at it. Also the front tires rub the fender on full lock. Great fun to drive and gets LOTS of attention. Does great on gas. PLEASE NOTE: Ebay does not recognise 1983 import VINs so the listing is showing 1980. But it is in fact a 1983 year model. Also - there is no US title since it was never registered here.
