1949 Chevy Coupe Up for auction this week with NO reserve is a 1949 Chevy coupe. Needless to say the car will need a FULL restoration. The car runs and LOT drives. This car is in NO WAY ready to drive anywhere and will need transported. I know a couple transport companies and MAY be able to help arrange shipping. Take a look at the pictures. Remember pictures ALWAYS look a lot better than the cars are. Not taking away from how cool this car is but its a fact. You are NOT buying a restored 49 chevy. NOW the cool things The car has had a V6 Engine and automatic trans installed at some time in its life. I do NOT know the size or condition of the engine I do know it seems to run just fine and started right up after we put a battery and fresh gas. I have not driven the car anywhere due to weak brakes and the fact that it has not been on the road in over 20 years. That will be the new owners option to take it on the road. again the car in my opinion needs everything depending on what exactly you want weather it becomes a 100% show car or a cool old rat rod. there is a gas tank someone mounted in the trunk to make the car drivable. even after sitting in a collapsed old garage for 20 plus years the car has a real cool old school look. again the pictures will show you exactly what you are getting. No extra parts what you see is what you get. Now for the real neat part is check my other auction. yes The old garage had two 49s in it and they are both offered for sale I would love to see them stay together. I was told they had been together for around 40 years or better. Yes I have a clear title for both vehicles This is a no reserve auction the high bidder owns the car. a deposit is due 3 days after the sale is over full payment due with in 7 days. These cars are in NO WAY NO HOW ANY CONDITION to drive anywhere but on to a trailer.
