Mom and Dad have reached their late 80's and have decided to leave the driving to others. So I am selling their prized 2006 Toyota Prius. Dad has spent a lot of time over the last few years bragging about the fabulous gas mileage he got with his Prius. He claims it was almost always over 50 mpg - However, the EPA figures for the Prius are 45 mpg highway, 48 mpg city and 46 mpg combined. Dad bought this car new from his local Toyota dealer in Sunny Southern California. This car has never seen snow or road salt. Mom and Dad are both non-smokers and have never had pets so the interior of the car is very clean. It was always in the garage at night. Dad's hobby was taking care of this car, so all of the service was first rate. Most of the time it was driven by Mom to and from bridge club and grocery shopping. The white exterior paint is excellent. Only the rear bumper area shows normal nicks and scratches. The gray interior is also in very good condition with just one exception. A few years ago, Dad tried to install a navigation device and damaged the center data screen. The screen still works but the touch choice function is no longer working. However, there are conventional switches that duplicate the touch screen choices. We hate to see this car leave the family but its time to pass it on to the second lucky owner! Happy Bidding!
