I bought this truck in 2008 from the grandson of the original buyer, Emery Boschat. He bought it from a dealer in Feesenden, North Dakota, 15 miles away from his farm, a little north of Cathay. From the photos you can see the barn I pulled it out of. It had not been registered for many years. "Always been in the barn," he told me. It's mileage is original. It was used on the farm or to go to town. I'v tried to restore to it's original state as possible. I had the engine rebuilt and painted it's original color. It is a 6 volt system. Four speed with a granny gear. Two speed heater works fine. Lights and gauges are all working. AM radio was rebuilt with new vacuum tubes. It now works great. I had the gas tank cleaned and sealed. The wood in the bed is original. I put in a rebuilt starter and generator. New windshield and a rubber seal. New door seals installed. I have 5 of the original registrations from 1949-1956. They were in a clear pouch wrapped around the steering column. I just had it tuned so it starts runs very good.I love this truck. My dad had a 1951 when I was growing up on a farm. I hope it will find the right home. I'm selling it without a reserve so you don't have to wonder if you are wasting your time bidding.
