Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Volvo S80 2.9 sedan. The S80 is the flagship of the Volvo family and represents the pinnacle of luxury, safety and quality. I would rate the exterior of this S80 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Volvo. It is finished in dark blue over tan interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find signs of age and wear commensurate with age and mileage. The worst I can say about the exterior of this Volvo are a handfull of dings in the doors. The body lines are nice and even. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this S80 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior shows very well. In fact, the only bad thing I can say about the interior is the usual worn arm rest. The door cards are clean and show minimal pulling. The carpets are clean and show well throughout the interior. The trunk is spacious and clean. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are supple and comfortable, not dried out and hard. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks and mirrors appear to be working properly. The power sunroof does not open. The stereo system is original and sounds great. There are steering wheel audio controls, too...which are very handy. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater is nice and warm. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A full set of owners books are included for the next owner. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels nice and responsive. The brakes stop this full sized luxury sedan with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. The engine feels smooth and strong. She keeps perfect operating temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. This Volvo appears to have an excellent service history. The timing belt was done at 86,XXX miles so you're good for a few years on that major service. It looks as if the ETM has already been done. A quick look in the service booklet shows every single service stamp since new...not a single service interval missed since this car was brand new. Every once in a while, the idle jumps...but there are no error codes present. It's not a big deal, but I wanted to mention it so you know. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight wtihout any complaints. This Volvo S80 has low miles, a full service history (including the major timing belt service) and a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of December of 2014. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Volvo S80 2.9 sedan. The S80 is the flagship of the Volvo family and represents the pinnacle of luxury, safety and quality. I would rate the exterior of this S80 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Volvo. It is finished in dark blue over tan interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find signs of age and wear commensurate with age and mileage. The worst I can say about the exterior of this Volvo are a handfull of dings in the doors. The body lines are nice and even. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this S80 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior shows very well. In fact, the only bad thing I can say about the interior is the usual worn arm rest. The door cards are clean and show minimal pulling. The carpets are clean and show well throughout the interior. The trunk is spacious and clean. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are supple and comfortable, not dried out and hard. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks and mirrors appear to be working properly. The power sunroof does not open. The stereo system is original and sounds great. There are steering wheel audio controls, too...which are very handy. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater is nice and warm. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A full set of owners books are included for the next owner.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels nice and responsive. The brakes stop this full sized luxury sedan with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. The engine feels smooth and strong. She keeps perfect operating temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. This Volvo appears to have an excellent service history. The timing belt was done at 86,XXX miles so you're good for a few years on that major service. It looks as if the ETM has already been done. A quick look in the service booklet shows every single service stamp since new...not a single service interval missed since this car was brand new. Every once in a while, the idle jumps...but there are no error codes present. It's not a big deal, but I wanted to mention it so you know. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight wtihout any complaints. This Volvo S80 has low miles, a full service history (including the major timing belt service) and a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of December of 2014. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
