The car had been in barn storage since 1996. I purchased it approximately 2 years ago and got it back on the road. I replaced the tires, plugs, carburetor, shocks, brakes, chrome, some paint, trunk storage box, lug nuts, hub caps, mirror, water pump. It runs good. Needs steering rod replaced (new one included), tires balanced and possibly a re-core on the radiator. Extra parts include: jack, starter crank, some wrenches, oil container, new tire, etc. Notice the paint chip on the driver front fender and beginnings of rust at the bottom of the firewall exterior. Rear fenders are fiber glass as well as some sections of the rumble seat area. This car has a clear NC title and was inspected by a DMV agent and a new VIN # was issued due to an engine change. The engine block has the main serial ID # for Model A’s. Because of this change, an insurance bond was issued to cover any loss due to any complications and there will be none because the car had a twenty year old NC title when I purchased it.. This is a common practice in this state and will help you in your state. North Carolina has one of the toughest department of motor vehicles for the approval of vintage autos.. The seller agrees to assist the shipping company you select with the loading of the vehicle within reason.
