Honda CA 160 is a 45 year old 2 cylinder 160cc that is the smaller version of the 305 dream with the same style. Mileage is unknown, it has a new speedometer but the cable is broken. It starts with the electric starter and runs smoothly after a 5-10 minute warm up using the choke and feeding the throttle. It sounds good and settles into a nice idle after warming up. Exhaust pipes and mufflers are very good with a gouge on the right pipe from the kick starter. It shifts nicely up and down in all 4 gears and can keep up with traffic. The clutch does not slip, but grabs close to full release. The mechanical drum brakes work as designed for the time period. The tires look good and are not cracking. The seat is an older re-upholstery, and looks good. The paint is a combination of original and amateur repaint and looks shiny and one color all over, but not great. The chrome, aluminum, and wheels all look good but have some corrosion. Everything works except the and the high/low beam switch is fussy. The recent work includes rebuilt carburetor; new throttle grip, handlebar cable "hinge", and cable; repaired many electrical connections that corroded or loosened over time, new battery and cables, replaced the electric starter, previous owner had treated the gas tank with POR15 sealer but didn't clean it properly (pulling away some), new design later Honda gas tank petcock, new gas cap, new modern-technology rectifier, major tune up including new parts.
