Vehicle Detail

Greetings! Up for sale is my 1961 Willys jeep along with this 16 foot Cross Country car hauler trailer. First a little about the jeep….. I've known and loved this Jeep for over 40 years! It belonged to my Father's employer in Philadelphia, PA since it was brand new. My father would drive it to and from work (nine mile round trip) every now and then until 1992 when it last shows the inspection sticker date. About eight years ago I tracked it down and found it in this condition, and made the deal to bring it back home. I've come to realize after eight years that I'll never get around to see it restored as I had planned. It will make a great project for the right person because it is very complete. I tried to spin the engine with the fan but it appears to be stuck. It could just be that the starter is rusted tight making it appear that the engine is stuck and nothing else, but I never investigated any more than that. I poured oil into each spark plug hole eight years ago and left it at that. The Cross Country trailer I bought new in 2001. It has a GVW of 7000 lbs. I used it occasionally since then to bring home a few vehicles or shuttle around a mini backhoe that I have, but for the most part it has sat around year after year. Two years ago I stripped the wood decking and extended it 2 feet forward and 2 feet rearward to make the total length 16 foot. I'm a retired welder so the job was done right! I then painted it with a single stage black semi gloss and added a little custom Pin stripping for fun. The tires are starting to get dry rotted and crack on the sidewalls so I suggest the winning bidder comes with a spare tire or two if he plans on traveling hours to pick it up. I wouldn't trust trying to get it home without bringing a spare! You will also need a few ratchet straps to tie it down for the trip. I have a clear PA title for the trailer but don't have the title for the jeep. Both will be sold with a bill of sale. I will not break up the pair or part them out. I had an old pickup truck for sale a few months back and a zero feedback bidder hit the "Buy it now" button and then quickly dropped out of eBay. Because of this I'll have to ask that if you have under ten feedback score please contact me through eBay before making an offer or hitting the "Buy it now button". I will only cancel your bid if you do so without contacting me first. Thanks! Please note that I don't have a reconstructed title for the Jeep. I couldn't post this listing without filling in that box.
