This is a really clean, 4 door, 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook. The car only has 68253 original miles and was literally owned by a little old lady who only drove it on Sundays before I bought it. Bad part is she sucked at backing into the garage so there are a few scratches on the doors and some dings. The car has a bit of rust on the rockers but can be put back in great condition with a little effort. The engine starts and runs well. It does leak oil a bit and the rear axle leaks too. I'm sure the seals are a bit worn due to the amount of time it spent sitting. It should not be too hard to replace them, I just didn't have the time to get it done. The transmission shifts great and the clutch is in good shape. I'm not sure about the overdrive, I never tried it out on the highway. I put new tires on the car and a new battery in it. The interior is clean but needs to be restored. Everything else is original and appears to be working. I do have a few manuals, etc. that go with the car. This would be an easy project for someone who has the time and wants a classic to run around in. I'm running out of room in the garage so my loss is your gain.
