Vehicle Detail
I bought this 911SC just a few months ago after searching for about four months. But now found something else that caught my eye and I have way too many cars. The target came from California. The previous owner had it for quite a few years. 2007 he had the entire engine rebuilt. Not a cheap rebuilt either , have receipts in a tune of $8000. The rebuilt included also the fuel distributor and ignition distributor rebuilt. New fuel injectors and new fuel pressure regulator. Also, the clutch was replace some of the vacuum and fuel lines. The brakes were also replaced, new turbo tie rods, new ball joints, new real axle and rebuilt calipers. Is only been about 4200 miles on it since the rebuilt. The target top was totally refurbished. Also all new four sides target top seals. The heat works great! The front sports seats were reupholstered. There is a small cut on the bottom part of the driver sport seat. The color is sienna copper metallic (436-9-3) and is extremely rare. The original buyer Special ordered it. The engine runs really strong, the clutch engages like it should, and it's peppy and responsive. You can tell the suspension has been redone, it drives extremely straight and is very responsive.New Targa Floor matsThe areas that need attention are: there are rock chips in the front, a 2 larger rock chips on the passenger side rear wheel area there's a slight wave in the paint around that rock chip. Small spot on targa bar. The dash is cracked, that's why there's a dash cap over it. The sun visors are ballooned. The gas gage is finicky. The Tach is finicky. The rear tires should be replaced, but the front are great. Might down swap for a 928, 968 or 911 Still waiting on my ND title to arrive by mail. ND DOT is 3-4 mounts behind in sending out tile's because of the oil boom. I expect it to arrive in the next week or so.
