Vehicle Detail
Selling an 1986 Cutlass that I've owned for 7 years. Clear Ohio title in my name, No reserve. When I bought it there was no drive train, engine, transmission or rear-end. So over the past several years I put it back together. Since its been running again I've only drove it between 200 and 300 hundred miles. Over all the body is in good shape, paint is faded and vinyl top is cracked. The floor board, trunk floor and frame are solid, as is the rockers, quarters and fenders. The doors are starting to rust on the bottom seams, but are not terrible yet. The trunk lid has a bad spot on one corner but i have a good lid that goes with the sell. It is missing the passenger side headlight bezel. It does have the proper jack and spare tire. The interior is in good shape also but the headliner did start falling this winter. The car is not an original bucket seat car. It did have the buckets in it when i got it, but they are not cutlass seats, they look like Monte Carlo. It does however come with the proper cutlass bucket seats but they do need re-done, they came from a car that sat for a very long time in a junk yard, so I got them basically for the frames and hardware. It currently has a disconnected column shift with the handle removed. Does come with a correct floor column that is primed for paint. I added the console and proper mounting brackets. The console is very nice, no cracks or chips. Hurst Dual Gate is from a mid-sixties GTO and the trim is a n.o.s original 79 Hurst Olds piece. Dash is nice with factory gauges. Nice sports steering wheel with no tears or heavy wear. Interior pieces are all original blue and there are no pieces that have been dyed. Auto Meter C2 oil and water gauges. The engine is a 1974 Oldsmobile 350. Completely rebuilt two years ago. It is 30 over with Keith Black pistons, crank was turned and rods assembled wit ARP bolts. Main caps are ARP studs. Melling camshaft (lost the spec. card but larger than stock), Edelrbrock True Double Roller timing chain, new Comp Cams push rods, valves and springs, guide plates, Hydr. lifters and roller tip rocker arms. Head were port matched to Ederbrock RPM intake. New Pro Comp distributor and used Msd 6 box ( I bought it new and had used on something else) New Accel 300+ Plug wires. Used Holley 670 Avenger rebuilt using Holley parts. New GMB aluminum water pump. New Jegs mini starter. New 60 amp alternator and proper bracket. New Champion aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. Oil filter re-located to front of core support with braided hose. Valvoline VR1 oil. New Hedman headers with copper gaskets, Pypes stainless steel X pipe and Flowmaster 40 mufflers. New gas tank (not old and cleaned) sending unit and fuel lines. Transmission is a turbo 350 rebuilt using TCI's master kit, Jegs 2300 stall converter and B&M fluid. Rear end is a 7.5 out of mid eighties Monte Carlo SS with new axle bearings and seals. 3.73 Posi. Ultimate rear end cover. Installed with new UMI tubular control arms and polyurethane bushings. Air Lift bags in springs, but no air lines. Front suspension has been completely rebuilt. New ball joints, inner & outer tie rod ends, drag link, pit-man arm and polyurethane bushings. New shocks front and rear. Steering was converted to manual and a solid steering shaft to eliminate the rag joint. Used power steering pump and bracket included. Bigger front 1 1/4 sway bar from the same Monte SS added. The brake system has mostly been rebuild. Did not replace booster, master cylinder or proportioning valve. All brake lines are are stainless steel from Fine Lines. New rotors, drums, calipers, springs and hardware. Back wheel cylinders are new but the application used is for a manual brake Chevy S-10, supposedly more holding pressure, I think they seem to lock the brakes faster on occasion. 15 inch rally wheels. As you can see there is a lot of new parts and work done, but there are things that still need done, like the speedometer cable still needs hooked-up (its there) Dash gauges need hooked up. The car runs great but I never really took the time to really fine tune it, like adjust carb. jets or messed with advancing or retarding the timing. The Napa battery is two years old and is weak, it'll hold a charge for a day or so but then it needs jumped. It was fine before and during the first part of winter but then i think the really deep cold we had drained it. So it will need replaced. The door locks and trunk lock key does not match, I don't know why, the key only works the trunk. So good ignition key and trunk key. Extra Parts Included: Complete factory set-up to take out a.c. and convert to non-ac. Good trunk lid, Correct bucket seats and steering column. Power steering pump and bracket. Two nice 15 inch Wheel Vintiques rally wheels, one 8 one 7 inches wide. There is some small misc. trim pieces. New extra speedometer cable. Folder full of receipts, not all but most. Feel free to ask any questions, I'm sure something was left out. Inspection in person is available. $500 non-refundable deposit due with in 24 hours of end of auction. Payment can be Pay Pal or cash in person only.
