My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Volvo V70 Cross Country AWD. The 1998 model year is the final year for the traditional cable driven throttle before Volvo joined the tech race and screwed up (in my opinion) the reputation they spent decades earning. I would rate the exterior of this V70XC to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this Volvo. As you can see, this is a great looking estate. Finished in a gorgeous dark green metallic, this Volvo is certainly easy on the eyes. The body shows very well for its age. Everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few common scratches and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage...but nothing to be ashamed of. The exterior trim looks great. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo is. I would rate the interior of this V70XC to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for her age and mileage. I'll get straight to the only two bad things I have to say about this car. For some reason, the switch to the drivers window had a piece of tape over it when I got this car. Like an idiot, I pushed the button anyway out of curiousity. The window goes down but not up...so it is currently down about an inch. Also, the drivers door panel is loose at the bottom (very common as these cars begin to age). Now that the bad stuff is out of the way, we can go through the rest of the interior. The door panels are all clean and show only minor pulling. The carpets show well throughout the interior. In fact, there is a complete set of custom fitted, heavy duty floor mats that come with this car. The set includes the four passenger mats and a three piece cargo mat set. The leather seats show very well for their age and are still soft and supple, not dried out and hard. The wood interior trim also shows very well and shows no delamination. It's obvious that this car was garage kept for the interior to be in this condition. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The stereo system is original and sounds great. The climate control is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The heater blows nice hot air and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. There is an optional onboard computer to track fuel consumption, fuel range, trim info, ect. Inside the glove compartment is a full set of original owners books that will go to the next owner. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this V70XC appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L turbocharged five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels pretty good for an older car. The steering feels tight and responsive...it pulls very slightly to the right at highway speeds. The brakes stop this estate with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there have been no warning lights on. I've personally driven this Volvo in excess of 100 miles with absolutely no issues. According to the service book, this Volvo has been dealer serviced since new with every single service stamp completed from new through 100,000 miles when the vehicle was presumably bought by its second owner. Even the battery is a proper Volvo battery! The engine makes good power and runs strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and smooth. The AWD system is tested and working properly with no drive shaft vibrations! She has a good PA safety and emissions inspection good through October of 2014. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Volvo V70 Cross Country AWD. The 1998 model year is the final year for the traditional cable driven throttle before Volvo joined the tech race and screwed up (in my opinion) the reputation they spent decades earning. I would rate the exterior of this V70XC to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this Volvo. As you can see, this is a great looking estate. Finished in a gorgeous dark green metallic, this Volvo is certainly easy on the eyes. The body shows very well for its age. Everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few common scratches and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage...but nothing to be ashamed of. The exterior trim looks great. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo is.
I would rate the interior of this V70XC to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for her age and mileage. I'll get straight to the only two bad things I have to say about this car. For some reason, the switch to the drivers window had a piece of tape over it when I got this car. Like an idiot, I pushed the button anyway out of curiousity. The window goes down but not up...so it is currently down about an inch. Also, the drivers door panel is loose at the bottom (very common as these cars begin to age). Now that the bad stuff is out of the way, we can go through the rest of the interior. The door panels are all clean and show only minor pulling. The carpets show well throughout the interior. In fact, there is a complete set of custom fitted, heavy duty floor mats that come with this car. The set includes the four passenger mats and a three piece cargo mat set. The leather seats show very well for their age and are still soft and supple, not dried out and hard. The wood interior trim also shows very well and shows no delamination. It's obvious that this car was garage kept for the interior to be in this condition. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The stereo system is original and sounds great. The climate control is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The heater blows nice hot air and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. There is an optional onboard computer to track fuel consumption, fuel range, trim info, ect. Inside the glove compartment is a full set of original owners books that will go to the next owner. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully.
Mechanically, this V70XC appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L turbocharged five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels pretty good for an older car. The steering feels tight and responsive...it pulls very slightly to the right at highway speeds. The brakes stop this estate with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there have been no warning lights on. I've personally driven this Volvo in excess of 100 miles with absolutely no issues. According to the service book, this Volvo has been dealer serviced since new with every single service stamp completed from new through 100,000 miles when the vehicle was presumably bought by its second owner. Even the battery is a proper Volvo battery! The engine makes good power and runs strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and smooth. The AWD system is tested and working properly with no drive shaft vibrations! She has a good PA safety and emissions inspection good through October of 2014. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
