Vehicle Detail

Edit: relisted with lower buy it now. This represents a bargain as much less collectable cars have recently sold at higher prices, for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-PORSCHE-914-RESTORED-CALIFORNIA-CAR-APP-PACKAGE-EXCEPTIONAL-EXAMPLE-/321323261598?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=wImUTV5Gp4ahcB4jpKlbw9awxOo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc#ht_42842wt_1293 ...this one sold for $19,200 and has modified interior, shaved side marker lights, cheap aftermarket wheels, aftermarket intrusive stereo system, aftermarket steering wheel and funky aftermarket rubber antenna. So...I know my price is on the mark. Hopefully all the buyers didn't waste their money on these kinds of examples before mine made it to market! Thanks for looking and Happy Easter everyone. This is the one you have been waiting for. As good as it gets in Delphi green (L99A), this original 73 2.0L (motor# GA002304) numbers, color and date stamps matching 914 with original Fuel Injection has always been fully maintained and driven. The last long term owner was a pilot who used it mainly for a commute from Sacramento to the Bay area (SFO) twice a month. Actual mileage in unverifiable but has been maintained and serviced regularly at IPB Autosport (one of Sacrmento's premier independent shops). Newer brakes, calipers, Raby's heads (aircooledtechnology.com), Bridgstone Potenzas, valve adjustment / tune up service, etc. Never a restored car, just lived and easy life. 1 older repaint in original color (less than perfect but very presentable 10 footer still today). Very solid, dry car with only 1 minor rust area in trunk floor too minor to repair (pictured in link, circled in Red). No other issues including hell holes, rockers and front trunk (and all areas are pictured in link). Everything works on this car, as prior owner depended on it for actual transpiration: lights, brights, signals, heater, defrost, fresh air blower fan, wipers, windshield washers (updated with electric pump), fog lights (converted to yellow driving lights, super bright), all gauges, dome light, door buzzers, parking brake, flashers, radio/cd player w/remote & ipod hookup wired into center storage box, etc. Great gaps throughout with no major signs of accidents or crinkled up aprons. Excellent bumpers and above average rubber and gaskets. Very little wind noise with windows rolled up and top on. Above average original interior with a few dash cracks and some thin areas in original carpets. Runs fantastic and starts up on the first try, every time (love a good working FI system). Trans and clutch are perfect. Front and rear sway bars with Konis keep it firmly planted. No freeway wander and very confident at high speeds as well as agile and swift through the twisties. This car is every bit as fun to drive as any 911 and has the integrity and soundness of a much new car. Original owners manual, maintenance record & emissions control equipment booklets (all 3 dealer stamped), tools, original key (still locks everything, both doors, trunks, glovebox, ignition)and valet key, jack & spare are all included. Not a perfect restored example, but a wonderful driver / survivor that is too nice to restore and in many ways better with the soul that remains in it's patina. Don't fool yourself, complete, original, in tact, numbers matching, running, driving, no stories/excuses examples are nearly impossible to find these days (even in sunny dry CA where I live, and where the majority of these cars were sold). Sure to appreciate as one of the icon cars of the 914 run. Link to all 120 images, inside, outside and under, as mentioned above: http://s761.photobucket.com/user/car-reras/library/2l DRD Motor Trade is a licensed, bonded CA dealer specializing in the hard to find, appreciating classics like this one. I have made every attempt to describe this vehicle accurately and take great pride in my feedback rating and client satisfaction. Please feel free to ask any and all questions, and as always, pre-purchase inspections welcomed. Below are just a few of the highlight pictures in no particular order. Enjoy.
