I found this truck sitting among the tall pines of Northern California close to where I live, Where it was sitting for some time, The original owner blew up the original engine and was having his grandson replace it with the Ka motor for more reliability. The grandfather has since passed and I bought the truck in hopes of fixing her up and doing a Turbo Ka swap( Real easy for this swap) but life has gotten in the way and now I would like to see it go to someone who will fix it.It is a 1977 Datsun King Cab Deluxe pick up.It came with the original L20B 4 cyl and 5 speed manual transmission, But the original drive train is long gone. It has since been replaced with a low mile 1990 Nissan Ka24e single overhead cam engine. The engine mounts are custom to allow this swap. It originally came with the vertical throttle body and I have switched it over to the more user friendly 89-90 240sx intake system with MAF sensor and it has the full engine harness for this swap already ran from the engine to the Can Am performance products command box that makes this swap an easy eight wire to the Can Am box and just +/- hook up to it. I have also included the number 11 computer for the swap (the one with out a rev limiter) already plugged in. Both the Can Am box and computer needs to be mounted they are ran to the inside of the cab. There is no transmission installed nut does come with a truck 5 speed. The clutch has already been attached. The only exhaust to speak of is the stock manifold and nothing from there. The intake and exhaust are only inplace for mock up and need to be permanently attached.I have both drive lines for this truck one being the original and the other from the Nissan truck, both will be included.All glass is in good shape and work well. This is an Original Red truck with Black interior. The gauges have been swapped for aftermarket gauges to be more universal for the swap they include speedo, tach, oil, water, volts.The interior has the original door and king cab panels all in good shape along with a stock center console and s10 seats that match the truck well.The body is is in great shape for the age with only small dings and very very little rust the only stuff I found is just surface rust under the battery.I have replaced the front bumper with a new aftermarket one.The tailgate has frenched in license box done pretty well.The suspension is all stock with the exception of new shocks all around and fully rebuilt brakes. The wheels are american racing black wheels with caps and lugs. Never got around to getting tires for it so its being sold on rims only.The tuck retains a clean California title in NON-Operational status with DMV. So no back fees for Ca buyers. Note this truck will not pass California smog and is being sold only "For Parts Only" in California. This is a project!!There are only just a few Ka swaps in 620s more prevalent in Northern Ca and Oregon. I know that in the southern states these truck are unheard of for the most part and this is a great opportunity to own a pretty much rust free California truck.
