VEHICLE FOR SALE 1937 CHEVROLET 2 Door Master Business Coupe Less than 2000 miles since completion in approximately 2007 All drive-train components used in the build were new or remanufactured Original frame was boxed, X-ed., sandblasted and painted purple by Heinzman Street Rods Flaming River Mustang II front- end with 11 inch disc brakes was welded in along with a 1973 independent suspension Jaguar rear-end with 3:53 gears and positraction by Heinzman also 20 gallon polished stainless gas tank with baffles Both electric and mechanical fuel pumps Battery located to trunk with battery disconnect switch inside lockable trunk EXTERIOR Car is all steel and mostly original Running boards are steel aftermarket Exterior color is ultra orange pearl with violet pearl and iris (magenta) stripes All car parts were painted individually before assembly Laser cut aftermarket polished stainless steel grill Original Chevy emblem, eyebrow, ss trim and hood stainless steel is original Polished ss hood handles Headlights modified to tri-bar and are in original 37 buckets All new softseal moldings and rubber cushions Split bumpers, front and rear, made from original bumpers Lighted and polished rear license plate holder frenched into trunk 41 Chevy ss taillights with halogen bulbs frenched into rear 15x8 Rodlite polished aluminum front rims w/P235/60R15 BF Goodrich T/A tires 15x10 Rodlite polished aluminum rear rims w/P295/50R15 BF Goodrich T/A tires All 4 rims have bolt-on polished aluminum actual spin-on/off knockoffs Speed indicated on the speedometer is exactly correct with these tires that are installed now Peep mirrors Pop-up cowl for exterior air intake is electrically operated from inside of car Electric aftermarket cable controlled windshield wipers with billet polished aluminum arms ENGINE COMPARTMENT, COMPONENTS AND DRIVE-TRAIN Chevrolet 348 heavy duty truck block, .060 overbore with 454 big block rods, forged stroker pistons and a steel 409 crank equaling a 385 cu in W block stroker motor – built and dynamically balanced by Wayne Lewis currently at Speedway Motors, Lincoln, Nebraska Motor has #333 heads with screw-in studs, 409 3/8 guide plates and oversize stainless steel valves and the combination produces approx. 9.2 to 1 compression and runs on regular gas Heads are covered with Offenhauser polished aluminum valve covers with chrome wing-nuts and 2 polished aluminum Moon-eyes breathers A mild Isky hydraulic cam with high performance lifters was installed and uses hi-perf 3/8 Isky chrome- moly pushrods and Scorpion 7/16 aluminum roller rockers for movement Intake manifold is a 4 barrel cast iron 409 (340hp) that utilizes an Edelbrock 600 cfm, electric choke carb atop a 2 inch aluminum spacer and is overall topped with an aluminum, oval, flame cut air cleaner A right side dipstick 409 (6 quart) pan encloses the high flow oil pump with heavy-duty spring There is a quiet Pete Jackson gear drive and 6 ¼ inch fluid damper on the crank There is a new MSD distributor that they make for a 348/409 with centrifugal advance installed A lightweight mini-starter cranks the engine 100 amp alternator Walker copper and brass radiator w/condenser, 17 inch ss fan and shroud and any overflow is contained in a 2 inch dia.
