2000 Dodge Ram 1500- High Top Conversion Van.This van is a perfect choice for vacations or van camping! We used it for both and it really worked well and runs great. It has just been newly PA State inspected which is good until May 2015. Interior: The back seat folds down to a bed that is about 60" (queen width) from the front to the back. We used a slightly wider memory-foam topper from wall to wall which brought it to about 72" when resting on the window sills. By removing the two rear swivel captains chairs, the rear space can be opened up to create your own camper set-up. On the side behind the driver's seat we fit a large metal Coleman cooler, an IKEA Antonius storage unit, and a cassette toilet unit. There is plenty of storage room under the bed for additional camping gear. There are 3 overhead storage compartments on each side, one large one in the back, and one on each side of the TV. One of the compartments contains the original VCR. The wood trim is beautiful quality and very glossy, with a couple of dings here and there but nothing that detracts from the overall look. There is a very nice LED lighting package which creates a beautiful atmosphere at night. In fact there is a custom light on the driver's side wall engraved with the Stewart family crest. When you insert the key to start the van it even makes a sound like bagpipes! On the exterior there are soft accent light on both sides. This was clearly a top-of-the-line high-dollar custom conversion. The carpet and upholstered walls are in very good condition for the age, with no significant stains or blemishes. The leather seats are still supple but do have some marks, wrinkles and scuffs that could be cleaned up and improved with a good conditioning. But no cracks or splits or tears.Exterior: In great shape for the age, with a couple of typical minor cosmetic issues like paint nicks or minor flaws in the pinstriping. There is a small dent in the front bumper which was there when we bought it. The headlights are cloudy and could use a polish. There was a small crack in the running board on the passenger side, which we repaired and reinforced. Tires are practically brand new.
