Tuxedo-Park mark IV,"as the company called it, the"sportscar" of Kaiser -jeep in the 60's, with modern day ads!! ist year that the vin verified the model status, ist 4 of vin number, "8322" being the tuxedo version,got from a friend of mine ,he's extremely mechanical, he got it10 years ago from 2nd owner,who had previously done thousands, in body off restore, with $3k f-glass body all on+installed,frame is very mint+unmolested along with the orig steel hood with orig logos, ,and very rare optioned dual pane windshield that tilts out, effortlessly!! (see pics!) !!!,,and or the shield folds down for summer fun!, he designed very custom power-steer unit,next to an insane HD front winch,and installed with,,, a chevy 1977 350 cid,(approx. 70K) and with dual and side- out exhaust ,along with updated gm Tilt steer/wheel+column,,updated trans case with 4 speed+reverse on the floor,,, high back buckets, lock in warn hubs, 2+1/2 inch lift , with rancho-9000 shocks+steer stabilizer,, new leafs, and shes mint underneath, of course! ( I can get the orig "freemoving" 4 cly that was removed for the chevy power,can get motor for $500from him(stored in his basement) and I can put in back of cj ) it has 33 inch all terrains with tons of tread and use left,with deep dish wagon wheel mags,+full size spare with match rim,.,,new HD battery was centered in back of cab behind pass. seat, had a blast last fall,driving around got tons of looks, and jeep waves!!!,and put in storage, as its been every winter, just pulled out and with spring coming,, for NADA classic car book values,,,medium start at $9K to and go over $20k, not many left!and none in this shape and with mods in theprice!! he painted jeep, back then with grey hd enamel, its serviceable,+looks fine, but orig Jeep paint is red, see paint chip in picture under orig hood, would look awesome redone in that color,and if original look is what you're going for,thenshould be fairly simple to get chrome wheel covers, mirrorsand bumper-ette cover to emulate the orig mark IV look!!,and drop back in the 4cly if you don't want chevy power???? up to buyer, but looks tough+off road durable right now, as it is!! and I'd expect would appraise out for much more( I had theft+fire insuranced on it over the winter store months at $7600) (theres easily $10-12k in value for frame,body, orig partsand all mods, not to mention, the tons of hours invested!!)got another old school HD power steer pump with biger pulley for better ability to use and turn+use of the bigger tires,, books, and info on" Tuexdo "model, have all proper registration and antique title/forms, to re-register problem free in any state. ,We live in so. new Hampshire, andcan show 4x4 anytime, can assist with aquiring affordable shipping as I deal in antiques and have shipped nation wide for years,coming out of storage now but fully covered at night if seeking shipment, will make sure cover is securly on jeep before heading out,, SEE PICTURE covered!!!!!,,***** is for sale locally, reserve right to sell or do partial trades+$,, NOTE..*and am down just2 points, just under 100%rating, as 2 years ago, I made mistake of selling 40 year old jaguar to a kid,, , also with v8 conversion, for $8,000 under appraised value, and I think, the buyer thought he was getting a new jag, with all work done. serviced,inspected, and cold A/C!(clearly shown in pictures, there was no a/c!) lol,, so yes this is an ANTIQUE, USED,+ very rare +collectible cj5 meant to be used as a fun ride, in sun, as a weekend toy+take to shows and events,,(+win!) etc etc.,,,, and an awesome investment, value only going up,,.,, any?? please ask, if close by in tri state area please stop by , thanks for looking!! "ONLY IN A JEEP!" ********update--just finished complete tune,, pulled out last night ,warm weather here finally, finished tune pumped carb x2 and,,,it fired up like NEW!!! gas gauge fully operational @ 1/2 full, oil gauge,awesome pressure at 60-65 psi at cold idle then down to 45-50 psi at warmed up idle,, , and alt./battery charage gauge at 14-15, running INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! shes ready for play!!!!!!!!
