Up for sale is an Awesome 1987 Subaru XT. This car was the bell of the ball when she came out in the late 80's. It has such a unique wedge design that was said to be the most aerodynamic design of its time. This one features the turbocharged 4 cylinder boxer engine. These engines lay low in the car to keep the weight down for performance. This one is the FWD version. It does not have the rear transaxle to break on you. The car is in very good shape for her age. Dash says she has 195XXX miles on it but I don't think the gauge cluster is original. The fellow I bought it from was a subaru technician and he freshened up the engine and put in a new transmission. The front and rear running gear are from a 2003 wrx so the 17" oz rally wheels would fit. Also added was the front turbo scoop off a 03' WRX. The car runs and drives well. The A/C blows cold and the heater works. All the power windows work and it is generally in decent condition. Its a five speed and the clutch is tight. It really is a blast to drive. Be prepared to get a lot of questions and thumbs up from the folks that drive by. The car is located in zip code 95677 Rocklin, Ca.
