Cost for the Overdrive and Shifter is about $1,100, but the Pickup has 12 Forward Speeds and 4 reverse Speeds (With High/Low range Transfer Case.)Brake system completely rebuilt about 20,000 miles agoSeat bench and back reupholstered in durable clothDealer installed "Hunter" style rear bumper79,609 milesGood Glass All gauges workDistributor and fuel pump replaced about 10,000 miles agoEngine has the "Hilly Country" Carburetor Option with Twin Float Bowls on the side, so It'll Climb Steep HillsNew Exhaust System installed about 20,000 miles agoThe Heater Works very well and doesn't LeakNew Cooper Discoverer Tires 7.50R16lt with Inner-Tubes New Wheel Bearings Front and RearI have receipts for about $8,500 in parts and laborI have the Shop Manual, Parts Manual and some Miscellaneous Spare PartsThe Body of this Pickup is StraightI've owned this Truck for about 20 years and put about 25,000 miles on it. It used to be my Daily Driver and its a Good RunnerLook at Hemmings Motor News 2013/03/01 for an article about Willys Pickup Truck Prices That's Most of the Good Stuff, Now for the Bad: The biggest drawback is extensive Surface Rust on the Hood, Fenders and Pickup bed. Extensive Surface Preparation will be required before a Quality Paint Job can be applied. There are some Poorly Brazed cracks on the Front Fenders and some very poorly welded Repairs to the Chain Tabs on the Tailgate. The Driver's Side Seat has several Small Burn Holes in it and the Driver's Side Floor has a couple of Rust holes in it, due to a Leaky Cowl Ventilator. I patched them well, but they're still there. There is a rear main leak, not bad, but more than I'd like to see. Also there is a leak from the Timing Gear Cover, again, not bad, but it's there. The top of the Radiator has a small epoxy patch I put there years ago, as does the bottom of the fuel tank, Neither leak. There are 6 or 8 holes drilled in random parts of the body ranging from 1/4" to 3/8" in diameter. The Wiring Harness is not cut up and works well, but it's old and needs to be replaced. The Rubber Seals on the Doors needs replacingThe Interior needs redone, Headliner, Inner Door Panels, Arm Rests and etc. Everything's there, it needs work though. The Clutch is a little jumpy now, I've smoked it a few times over the years. It needs a new Friction Plate I Imagine, as the Flywheel was Resurfaced and the Pressure Plate Replaced about 20,000 miles ago.The Passenger Side Front Fender is not the original, and there is a dent on the Lower Rear Corner of the Cab on the Passenger Side. It's been "Bondo'd" well, but it's still there. So, that's about it. The dirty work's been done, most of what remains to be done is cosmetic. I'm not going to give it away, but if you wanted to invest in a Willys 4x4 Truck, this might be one to consider. On Apr-11-14 at 14:51:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that although this vehicle is not my daily driver anymore, I start it and let it warm up every two weeks or so.Also, I had the vacuum wiper motor rebuilt some years ago, and the wipers work as well as vacuum wipers usually do, which is to say not that great.
