My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fairly rare 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL320 roadster. Although the SL cars aren't very rare, the six cylinder ones are quite hard to find. As far as SL's go, all of the V12 cars went to the rappers and sports figures. Everyone else bought an SL500 because they couldn't afford a 600 and didn't want the smaller engine...which is exactly what makes them desirable as a used car. While everyone else bought an SL with the V8 and V12 for image, the folks who bought the inline six bought it because every remarkable Mercedes made in the last half of the 20th centruy had an inline six cylinder engine. These cars were most often bought by people loyal to the Mercedes brand and often had owned several Merc's prior...so they were bought because they were fantastic cars, not because that's what was in style that year. This often results in very lovingly cared for cars such as this one. As you can see, this is a stunning SL 320. It is finished in silver with a blue soft top and matching blue (rare color combo) interior. I would rate the exterior of this roadster to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The silver exterior has a brilliant shine from front to back. As with any older vehicle, I'm sure she isn't perfect...but one would have to look pretty hard to find anything to complain about. Everything on the body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. This Merc comes with both tops. The matching hard top is in fantastic condition. The beautiful blue soft top also appears to be in great condition inside and out. The soft top raises and lowers properly with the touch of a button. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a proper matching set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. This SL 320 comes from a time when it meant something to drive a Mercedes-Benz. These cars were built to a standard, not a price...and it shows throughout every inch of cars like this. If you're in the market for a beautiful Mercedes-Benz roadster that was caringly owned and sparingly driven, this automobile deserves your consideration. I would rate the interior of this SL 320 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior is stunning to look at. Blue interior is very rare to find in a Mercedes of this age and was most likely special ordered this way. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The leather seats are in excellent condition and are still very soft and supple, not dried out and hard like some. The interior wood accents show very well. All of the buttons and controls are intact and fully functional. The dash is clean and shows no signs of fading or cracking. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this Mercedes. The trunk area and rear storage shelf is clean. Mechanically, this SL 320 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 3.2L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any noteworthy leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The steering feels evenly weighted and responsive. The suspension feels tight like it should. The brakes stop this roadster with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on. She runs nice and smoothly like she's supposed to. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection, too. It is my opinion that pre-2000's Merc's are the best made cars on the road. Anyone who knows me will tell you how strongly I feel about that. I've owned more of these cars than I can count. My personal daily driver is a 1991 350SDL. The next fortunate owner will get one of the nicest SL's I've come across in quite some time. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fairly rare 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL320 roadster. Although the SL cars aren't very rare, the six cylinder ones are quite hard to find. As far as SL's go, all of the V12 cars went to the rappers and sports figures. Everyone else bought an SL500 because they couldn't afford a 600 and didn't want the smaller engine...which is exactly what makes them desirable as a used car. While everyone else bought an SL with the V8 and V12 for image, the folks who bought the inline six bought it because every remarkable Mercedes made in the last half of the 20th centruy had an inline six cylinder engine. These cars were most often bought by people loyal to the Mercedes brand and often had owned several Merc's prior...so they were bought because they were fantastic cars, not because that's what was in style that year. This often results in very lovingly cared for cars such as this one.
As you can see, this is a stunning SL 320. It is finished in silver with a blue soft top and matching blue (rare color combo) interior. I would rate the exterior of this roadster to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The silver exterior has a brilliant shine from front to back. As with any older vehicle, I'm sure she isn't perfect...but one would have to look pretty hard to find anything to complain about. Everything on the body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. This Merc comes with both tops. The matching hard top is in fantastic condition. The beautiful blue soft top also appears to be in great condition inside and out. The soft top raises and lowers properly with the touch of a button. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a proper matching set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. This SL 320 comes from a time when it meant something to drive a Mercedes-Benz. These cars were built to a standard, not a price...and it shows throughout every inch of cars like this. If you're in the market for a beautiful Mercedes-Benz roadster that was caringly owned and sparingly driven, this automobile deserves your consideration.
I would rate the interior of this SL 320 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior is stunning to look at. Blue interior is very rare to find in a Mercedes of this age and was most likely special ordered this way. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The leather seats are in excellent condition and are still very soft and supple, not dried out and hard like some. The interior wood accents show very well. All of the buttons and controls are intact and fully functional. The dash is clean and shows no signs of fading or cracking. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this Mercedes. The trunk area and rear storage shelf is clean.
Mechanically, this SL 320 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 3.2L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any noteworthy leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The steering feels evenly weighted and responsive. The suspension feels tight like it should. The brakes stop this roadster with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on. She runs nice and smoothly like she's supposed to. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection, too. It is my opinion that pre-2000's Merc's are the best made cars on the road. Anyone who knows me will tell you how strongly I feel about that. I've owned more of these cars than I can count. My personal daily driver is a 1991 350SDL. The next fortunate owner will get one of the nicest SL's I've come across in quite some time. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.

We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
