Vehicle Detail
The time has come to sell my beloved bandit. I am the second owner. It was still a stock S model when I acquired it. Since then I have made quite a few changes. I still have all of the S bodywork and intend to include it in the sale unless the new owner doesn't want it (no discount for leaving it with me :) ) Bike is located on the edge of Baltimore, MD, you are welcome to see it in person, unlikely that I will let you take it for a spin... I lowsided once at about 20mph, which led to a replacement right side factory rearset, an engine cover scuff and the 16" Hindle can. Here's what I've done/ what its got Blue 1997 Bandit 1200S/ holeshot naked conversion-all S body parts will be included with sale. 48167 miles Holeshot flyscreen not currently installed but also included, amusing amateur paint job on it at present GSXR intake cam (from Holeshot)- increased Holeshot 5 degree timing advancer Holeshot stage 2 Jet kit wK&N filters Dual FIAM freeway blaster horns hiding where the huge airbox used to be Hindle headers and exhaust and can, headers and pipes all coated in black by Jett Hot. Progressive Springs in from forks Ohlin SU 601 rear shock speaking of the rear, swingarm painted a lovely black Carbon fiber hugger to go with that swing arm Competition werks fender eliminator as well Galfer braided lines Generic but attractive adjustable levers (black) Renthal streetfighter bars, heated grips installed (wiring needs to be sorted, but its simple, if I don't get to it before it sells, worked once upon a time...) all important PBR can mod (see pics, easily reversible) Corbin gunfighter and lady seat, with a removable backrest from Corbin (and original factory seat)3 s Pilots Power Tires front and rear, less than 3000 miles on front, rear is at least 50%, also including uninstalled pilot power for rear Suzuki rear rack, not currently installed but included. Very Generic Topcase, not installed, included 2 sets of sliders, neither currently installed, Rizomas (one of which was used in the lowside, but the puck has been replaced) and the Suzuki accessory ones, perhaps better described as engine guards. 3 manuals if you want them. Haynes, Clymer and Suzuki Factory I have NRC engine covers (both sides) and new gaskets that have yet to installed. Will include two covers, heavy duty Dowco and light travel one from aerostitch.com If they fit and you want them I will alos toss in a large HJC helmet and an XXL Icon Merc jacket.
