My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1989 BMW 750iL. The 750iL was the top shelf BMW of its day and featured luxuries unheard of for the time. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. The Alpine White exterior shows very well and the chrome exterior trim shines nicely. While not perfect, this car looks great for a 25 year old vehicle. The body is nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original wheels have been upgraded with a great looking set of five spoke MilleMiglia's to give this car an updated and aggressive look. The tires have average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the 84 high definition pictures carefully. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage of this vehicle. As you can see, this appears to be a well kept vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the inteiror. The leather seats show a little age but are not torn or worn out. Being the flagship V12 car, the door panels, dash and center console are all stitched leather, not formed plastic like you find in lesser models. All four seats (front and rear) are power adjusted and the front seats are heated. All four windows, both mirrors and the sunroof work as they should. The interior wood veneers show well and indicate that this BMW spent most of its life in a garage. Being a long wheelbase model, there is plenty of leg room for rear passengers. Both rear seats recline individually. The stereo is original and requires the security code (which I don't have). The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's still a little mild to tell for sure but it feels as if the air conditioner still blows cold air. The trunk is spacious, clean and still contains the original spare. Attention to detail is everywhere in the interior of this car...this is old school luxury without compromise. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V12 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. To me personally, nothing quite matches the sound of a 12 cylinder engine starting... I did not see any major leaks (I'm sure it's not a completely dry engine) and the engine does not smoke. The front end feels tight. The steering feels evenly weighted and is very responsive. The brake wear light is on but the brakes stop the vehicle fine. The shocks feel a little soft to me, but it has been going on two years since I've driven an E32 (finding an E32 worth buying doesn't happen often anymore) so it may just be me comparing it to an E38 which I drive more frequently. The 5.0L V12 engine is silky smooth and has power to spare. She keeps perfect temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. Out on the highway, this rocket drives nice and straight with no complaints. There is so much power on tap that you have to make a conscious effort to keep it around the speed limit. I don't see any immediate issues but please be aware that you will still need to maintain a car that was would cost well over $100,000 in todays dollars. The 12 cylinder engine is very reliable. To those who don't know these vehicles, the V12 cars are oftem met with apprehesive feelings when, in fact, it is just two straight six's (which everyone seems to love) joined at the crank. The V12 is an inherently well balanced engine as you can feel when you drive one. I've owned over a dozen V12 cars over the years (Merc's, BMW's and Jag's) with no trouble. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1989 BMW 750iL. The 750iL was the top shelf BMW of its day and featured luxuries unheard of for the time. As you can see, this is a great looking sedan. The Alpine White exterior shows very well and the chrome exterior trim shines nicely. While not perfect, this car looks great for a 25 year old vehicle. The body is nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original wheels have been upgraded with a great looking set of five spoke MilleMiglia's to give this car an updated and aggressive look. The tires have average tread. Please take your time and check out each of the 84 high definition pictures carefully.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage of this vehicle. As you can see, this appears to be a well kept vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the inteiror. The leather seats show a little age but are not torn or worn out. Being the flagship V12 car, the door panels, dash and center console are all stitched leather, not formed plastic like you find in lesser models. All four seats (front and rear) are power adjusted and the front seats are heated. All four windows, both mirrors and the sunroof work as they should. The interior wood veneers show well and indicate that this BMW spent most of its life in a garage. Being a long wheelbase model, there is plenty of leg room for rear passengers. Both rear seats recline individually. The stereo is original and requires the security code (which I don't have). The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's still a little mild to tell for sure but it feels as if the air conditioner still blows cold air. The trunk is spacious, clean and still contains the original spare. Attention to detail is everywhere in the interior of this car...this is old school luxury without compromise.
Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V12 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. To me personally, nothing quite matches the sound of a 12 cylinder engine starting... I did not see any major leaks (I'm sure it's not a completely dry engine) and the engine does not smoke. The front end feels tight. The steering feels evenly weighted and is very responsive. The brake wear light is on but the brakes stop the vehicle fine. The shocks feel a little soft to me, but it has been going on two years since I've driven an E32 (finding an E32 worth buying doesn't happen often anymore) so it may just be me comparing it to an E38 which I drive more frequently. The 5.0L V12 engine is silky smooth and has power to spare. She keeps perfect temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. Out on the highway, this rocket drives nice and straight with no complaints. There is so much power on tap that you have to make a conscious effort to keep it around the speed limit. I don't see any immediate issues but please be aware that you will still need to maintain a car that was would cost well over $100,000 in todays dollars. The 12 cylinder engine is very reliable. To those who don't know these vehicles, the V12 cars are oftem met with apprehesive feelings when, in fact, it is just two straight six's (which everyone seems to love) joined at the crank. The V12 is an inherently well balanced engine as you can feel when you drive one. I've owned over a dozen V12 cars over the years (Merc's, BMW's and Jag's) with no trouble. Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
