I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a fairly rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most awarded SUV's ever made and has an excellent reputation as a rugged, reliable and yet luxurious SUV. The Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited was a sort of "send off" for the first generation Grand Cherokee as it was the final year of this body style. However, the Grand Cherokee 5.9L is much more than a Grand Cherokee Limited with a big engine. There is more to set these rare Jeeps apart from their lesser cousins than you'd think. On the exterior, they can be told apart from lesser models by the obvious body colored honeycomb grill and functional heat extracting louvers in the hood. The side skirts and wheels are specific to the 5.9 Limited as well as the special lower profile roof rack. As you can see, this Grand Cherokee 5.9L is absolutely stunning to look at. The 5.9 Limited was only available in three colors...and white is my favorite. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you look at the pictures, it is evident that this vehicle has recieved exceptional care from her previous owner. The white finish is gorgeous and shines nicely. Although I'm sure she isn't perfect, there is hardly a blemish to be found on the exterior. Everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body cladding looks good and is intact. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The special alloy wheels show very well and are wrapped in a nearly new set of Michelin's all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. On the inside, there are even more subtle features that set this top-of-the-line Grand Cherokee apart from lesser models. The interior is treated to rich calf-grain leather which is only available in the 5.9L Grand Cherokee. There are special interior wood accents also not available in lesser models. The shifter handle to the transmission and transfer case, as well as the center arm rest and door inserts) are all stitched leather...unlike the simulated leather and plastics found in every other Grand Cherokee. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are rich and full looking throughout the interior. The calf-grain leather seats are still soft and supple...showing virtually no wear. The interior of this Jeep still smells like new leather. Both front seats are power operated and heated. There is also a rear seat folding arm rest which is specific to the 5.9 Limited. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly as it should. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The stereo system is the original Infinity Premium Sound with in-dash CD and rear sound bar. The stereo system powers up and sounds good...but you can hear some distortion if you crank the volume/bass too high. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This Grand Cherokee includes the original owners manual as well as two keys and two remotes. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Jeep. Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 360ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The worst I can say about this Jeep is that I can hear a small hole in the rear muffler, so you'll probably need a new muffler at some point. The front suspension feels great. This is one of the tightest Grand Cherokees I've ever driven...period. There is almost no play in the front end at all! The steering feels neutrally weighted and very responsive. The brakes stop this performance SUV easily. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. There I've put about 100 miles on this Jeep and there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Differential noise is minimal. The Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system works properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no compliants. This Jeep is king of the merge lane. With over 300lb-ft of torque on tap, this Jeep accellerates faster than most cars and was the fastest SUV produced in 1998. In addition to the big engine, the Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited had other supporting upgraded. These upgrades included a stronger transmission, stronger transfer case, HD alternator to power the improved electric fans and a better overall cooling system. This Jeep comes as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE from right here in Mechanicsburg, PA and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of June. I literally buy every single Grand Cherokee 5.9L that I see. Over the years, I've had maybe not quite a dozen...they're that rare. This is by far the cleanest/tightest one I've had yet...not to mention the lowest mileage example. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a fairly rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most awarded SUV's ever made and has an excellent reputation as a rugged, reliable and yet luxurious SUV. The Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited was a sort of "send off" for the first generation Grand Cherokee as it was the final year of this body style. However, the Grand Cherokee 5.9L is much more than a Grand Cherokee Limited with a big engine. There is more to set these rare Jeeps apart from their lesser cousins than you'd think. On the exterior, they can be told apart from lesser models by the obvious body colored honeycomb grill and functional heat extracting louvers in the hood. The side skirts and wheels are specific to the 5.9 Limited as well as the special lower profile roof rack.
As you can see, this Grand Cherokee 5.9L is absolutely stunning to look at. The 5.9 Limited was only available in three colors...and white is my favorite. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you look at the pictures, it is evident that this vehicle has recieved exceptional care from her previous owner. The white finish is gorgeous and shines nicely. Although I'm sure she isn't perfect, there is hardly a blemish to be found on the exterior. Everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body cladding looks good and is intact. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The special alloy wheels show very well and are wrapped in a nearly new set of Michelin's all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
On the inside, there are even more subtle features that set this top-of-the-line Grand Cherokee apart from lesser models. The interior is treated to rich calf-grain leather which is only available in the 5.9L Grand Cherokee. There are special interior wood accents also not available in lesser models. The shifter handle to the transmission and transfer case, as well as the center arm rest and door inserts) are all stitched leather...unlike the simulated leather and plastics found in every other Grand Cherokee. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are rich and full looking throughout the interior. The calf-grain leather seats are still soft and supple...showing virtually no wear. The interior of this Jeep still smells like new leather. Both front seats are power operated and heated. There is also a rear seat folding arm rest which is specific to the 5.9 Limited. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly as it should. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The stereo system is the original Infinity Premium Sound with in-dash CD and rear sound bar. The stereo system powers up and sounds good...but you can hear some distortion if you crank the volume/bass too high. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This Grand Cherokee includes the original owners manual as well as two keys and two remotes. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Jeep.
Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 360ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The worst I can say about this Jeep is that I can hear a small hole in the rear muffler, so you'll probably need a new muffler at some point. The front suspension feels great. This is one of the tightest Grand Cherokees I've ever driven...period. There is almost no play in the front end at all! The steering feels neutrally weighted and very responsive. The brakes stop this performance SUV easily. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. There I've put about 100 miles on this Jeep and there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Differential noise is minimal. The Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system works properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no compliants. This Jeep is king of the merge lane. With over 300lb-ft of torque on tap, this Jeep accellerates faster than most cars and was the fastest SUV produced in 1998. In addition to the big engine, the Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited had other supporting upgraded. These upgrades included a stronger transmission, stronger transfer case, HD alternator to power the improved electric fans and a better overall cooling system. This Jeep comes as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE from right here in Mechanicsburg, PA and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of June. I literally buy every single Grand Cherokee 5.9L that I see. Over the years, I've had maybe not quite a dozen...they're that rare. This is by far the cleanest/tightest one I've had yet...not to mention the lowest mileage example. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.

Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
