up for auction is my rare 56 belair convertible. 265 ci in v8, 4 barrel carb with dual exhaust ( power pack eng) powerglide automatic transmission, power brakes, continental kit, fender skirts. it also has a power top in excellent condition. new gas tank, sending unit and new edelbrock carb ( I have orig carb and oil bath air cleaner which will be included with sale ) engine runs smooth and quiet, no noise or smoke, I do see oil on floor when parked for long periods which I am told is common on theses cars. this car is a pleasure to drive. the ride is very smooth and the car drives straight down the road with no play in wheel and no pull. I bought the car in California from the previous private owner who had it for 25 years. as you can see in the pictures the body is in excellent condition. all body panels look to be original and are very straight. paint is very nice driver quality and shows very well with very small minor imperfections. the bottom of car is undercoated and is solid with no visible rust. interior is very good but front seat will need to be recovered. this is not a trailor queen, it is a beautiful 56 chevy ragtop you can have fun just cruising around or take it to the shows and take home a few trophy's. car is being sold in as is condition and I reserve the right to end listing early. you are welcome to come see and drive the car or have it inspected before auction ends. if you have questions please ask before bidding and before auction ends. joe 631-831-5215. car is located in Hudson florida.
