1993 Mercedes-Benz 190e - 2.6L For sale is my 1993 Mercedes 190e. I call her "Frau". I love this car, but I have reached my breaking point with the nickel-and-dime repairs. First off, the car is in very good shape considering its age. The 2.6L engine has always been solid and the only "problems" have been with auxiliary systems. It does take about a quart of oil per month, but this doesn't affect performance at all. It's still very responsive and fun to drive. I had just removed the dash and center console to replace the heater core and found that the freeze plug popped off. This is an easy fix, but I've drawn the line with Frau. Our relationship is kaputt. Repairs: new radiator 2013 new front struts and strut mounts 2013 new front tires 2013 new alternator 2012 Still needs: new heater core new freeze plug new tensioner pulley AC doesn't work (never has since I've had it) trunk leaks if you lift it after it rains This car is still very capable of being a daily driver after repairs. I just don't want to mess with it anymore.
