This is an original condition 1981 FXS Low Rider. A few improvements to the bike- K&N air filter, new clutch, running lights and an extra tail light. Has an alarm system installed. Thermostat has been added to the oil cooler and new oil lines. Upgraded lifters and adjustable pushrods. New battery in January. Fresh fluids and no oil leaks. Front tire new and rear tire showing some checking on sidewall but it has no miles on it. I have not owned the bike long but here is what I know about it- it has been indoors for last nine years. It was owned by a collector who preferred to work on them and enjoy them more than ride them. This collector prepared the bike for selling and his work was meticulous. The bike starts instantly and rides like new. No issues that I am aware of. I purchased this bike to be used as a project bike but after spending some time with it I decided it was just way too nice and original to do anything to it. So I'm not going to change anything. This bike should go to a shovel head fan or collector who can appreciate its condition. I cannot bring myself to ride this bike on the back dirt roads of South Dakota. I'll sell this and get something less nice to go bang around on.
